It is the nature of the beast, there is more inbreeding in sports than the Utah Mormon church. Naturally, the shots are fired only when you are s**t on-field. No mention of Walsh helping Carlton out either. A much bigger tragedy case, Voss wins game, sweep it under the carpet, Noble loses games, all of a sudden everyone is unpacking the mess.

The reality is we had an "extensive" process to pick Noble and Paul Roos who bore fruit with Melbourne failed with us. Do you blame people like Archer or Stevo? If they don't know anything about how to put together a successful club then who does?

Blaming JB for Amarfio? He was appointed end of 2019 then covid hit, we had to slash back staff, was a brutal time to rebuild. Buckley was the one that appointed Amarfio, JB had gone before then. Look, I am not JB's biggest fan, but it is a stretch to blame him.

Amarfio played a big part in the AFL landing a record broadcasting deal, he obviously brings something to the table, we posted a profit in 2020 during covid with no crowds, no Tasmanian revenue. These *ers would be lining up from AFL House to Cockburn stadium to shoot us in the head if we were a financial basket case. Geelong didn't think they would survive 2020.

We have an issue with the coach and players, we aren't winning games and haven't been competitive, but there are some long straws being drawn in that article and I think it is unfair, Hood has had as much involvement in North as Peggy O'Neal has at Richmond before she became president. If you are going to be comparing CVs you should give a balanced journalistic approach.

Did Ben have issues at CA? Sounds like it, does that mean nobody can ever learn or grow? If Sonja and the board think he has been doing a good job then are we just firing shots at random because we are angry we are losing games? What role does the CEO play in game day performance? Did Dilena call football department shots? What role did Euge play during the early Scott era? We gave Noble two years and we are reviewing the football department, got the old Dees list manager, getting Walsh who did a similar job at Carlton last year.

I am all for holding people accountable and reviewing performances, but we can't become the rabble everyone on the outside is trying to encourage us to become by having angry supporters who have nfi start lynching people, it has never turned out well for any other club.

Winning does cure all ills. Garry Lyon was like an excited child this morning on SEN disecting Sonja Hood's commentary around the Coterie group dude - but zippo out of him about the crap going on behind the scenes at Godees where a former President has accused the current President of leaking to the media which is all off to the WA Supreme Court. Pretty salacious stuff. Allegations of boozing, bullying and gambling - involving the current Coach no less. Small beer at our end in comparison I would have thought.

We are just an easy target atm, AFL media are vultures.

Yeah, it would be nice if it worked. But reports don't tend to do anything on the main board.

Theres an actual rule you can't use names like "Norf" on the MB, and it's still 50/50 whether a report gets it fixed.

Relocation taunts seem to be a free for all with no threat of backlash, I've reported plenty in the past and most of the time when I go back, they're still there.
I've reported every instance of the N word on the MB that I've seen and have a close to 100% strike rate in having it removed, fwiw.

Not sure you could call him influential 🤔
That’s why it was in quotation marks. I don’t think he is, but my whole post was talking about the difference between how this is and how it plays out in public.

Seriously, Tas has pretty much summed it up right here.

Print out and frame it. Then let’s stop talking about it. If there’s a civil war being, we’re being hassled into doing it. Or at the very least rushed.

God forbid anyone being offensive on this site!

And if it’s true? Do you really believe I’d just throw it out there?

Aaaaah, you did just throw it out there on the 29th June. See below. You hypothesised about it and now you claim it came from a trusted source? Amazing coincidence.

Pretty low to make this shit up.

Listening to Nobles presser and I've come up with a theory. I was asking myself why was Noble so defensive of his decision to play TT. Why talk about studies that suggest its better for people in those situations to have exercise and to play? It was almost like he was justifying his decision to get TT to play.

If TT wanted to play for his Nan he wouldn't have put up that performance. If he really wanted to be out there, he would have given way more effort, for his Nan. So, I reckon TT didn't want to play and Noble has made him play, either because he thought it was what was best for him, or he thought we needed him firing for us to win.

I think another dead give away is a bloke who seems to think himself pretty important posting on a web forum 40 times a day. Nothing wrong with posting on a forum but the volume and consistency is impressive for someone who has a lot of shit going on he needs to handle.

At this point BigFooty needs to just install an eye roll reaction 🙄
What can you say. Smell of Fitzroy. First bottle to fall. Says heaps about the character of the bloke that he'd attack a Club of our history at a weak moment simply because people are #$%^ canning his thought bubble on Tasmania.

Never in the history of the game has a solvent Club enjoying record membership and on the verge of expanding its facilities made way.

Wonder who is keen to invest in the development of a new stadium and entertainment precinct in Hobart?

When it comes to the McGuire's follow the $$$
I'd imagine nobody is going to be tipping in $750million in the current economic climate.

The whole Tassie team looks like nothing more than a pipe dream.

Christ Kingy does a mountain of work advocating for us. I don't agree with everything he says but for the last few years he has been head and shoulders our best spokesman, even if he's not on the payroll. It's always nice to hear he's been spotted watching training or something too.
