I don't get why he seems so salty.
Not sure who is worse out of him and ****en Rob Burton. Pair of bloody whingers who can **** back off to commenting on the shitty NBL. We're all frustrated with how things have played out in the last decade but they are doing nothing but worsening the brand of the club that they allegedly care about with the constant sooking from ex-employees. What are they hoping to achieve with their tweets? Yeah yeah yeah freedom of speech and all that but I personally expected better from guys who I thought gave a shit about this club

Don't see a problem with either Heath's original comment about the number one pick, nor the one criticising the club about posting the stat.

We're on track for a winless season and getting worse when we should be getting better. More directly we're the worst side over a prolonged period in the history of the AFL.

Posting that stat achieves nothing. It doesn't change the fact we're shit and supporters don't need to read that rubbish.

Absolute lack of awareness by the club and more evidence about how out of touch and inferior all areas of our club are.

You don’t? It’s more looking it at it from the contrasting view that the list was capable of playing better and consistent football. Which it evidently proved that it couldn’t following the conclusion of the 2023 season. But Heath thought north was better than it was. He thought it was better saving face and winning and proving we weren’t the worst team. He was wrong.

So I think there was something majorly wrong with his comment at the time. A number one pick could have done a lot for the bottom side. Whether it’s talent a lone or building a core midfield unit. It could have done a lot more than winning a game when the team wasn’t looking to make any upward trajectory, not in the slightest.

So I don’t think Heath even knows what he is angry about these days.

Who the heck is celebrating the #1 pick? I don't think I've seen any celebrating at all. It's more like a reluctant acceptance.
Sorry, this was from last year. The message I’m trying to get across is I don’t think Heath knows whats good for north at the moment, he just seems to whinge without any valuable input that may improve the team

Now you know how we feel when we read your posts.

Wow a debate between a guy that helped prise a number one pick out of our club, and a guy who signed with our club then back flipped and went somewhere else. Two classy boys
Back flipped twice. Once as a player and once as coach. The fact that he never experienced a premiership is one of my footy joys. However, I must say some of his footy commentary is very good.

Can we just park this harley reid crap.

Tom scully was the second coming after he's first year.

Lewis Taylor and jaidyn Stephenson have failed after rising star years

Adam goodes did what reid did outta the middle twice in a grand final (albeit not as a 19yo)

My point is yes he will probably be a gun, but so should all top picks. Including mckercher and duursma. Or they all could not live up to it for varying reasons.

Also, essendon have completely fluffed some picks and sit second this year.

2020 they got zach reid, perkins and cox. Maybe they'll come good but perkins the only 1 making an impact.

Point is swings and roundabouts, plenty of hits and misses. 1 player ain't the be all and end all

Pity the AFL has no balls when it comes to this sort of discussion. Andrew Dillon has one of the country's best jobs and he's too f***ing timid to take issue with high-profile football commentators criticising a club for not breaking one of the most important rules relating to preserving integrity of the competition.
Is it kind of like Bucks and Kano getting tired of the Harley sliding doors BS, only to unearth an old chestnut about why didn’t North secure comic-style bags of unmarked bills on top of the multi-million dollar offer to hand to Dusty back in 2017 in order to secure his services?

Bang on Heath

Me: oh that’s a nice stat I guess, given everything else. A little morsel of positivity in my life. Keep scrolling.

Heath: WHY ARE YOU CELEBRATING!?!

Me: urgh I hate this club, we might win the spoon again. I wonder who the best draftee is this year who can help us get better.

Heath: WhY aRe YoU cEleBraTiNg!?!
