Better than the Tiger agenda pushing blebs who have been saying Pick 2 and F1 for 6 and 10 "and even then the Tigers are giving more"
saw some prick do a draft video that "justified" 2 and F1 for 6 and 20.

said it with a straight face, mentioned something about next year there's academy and father sons so that makes it fair, that's it.

i just can't fathom how some people function.

There is also a high likelihood Richmond need as much talent as possible at the top end to fast track their rebuild.

They need to replace senior players with gun young players otherwise what's the point?

All this talk about draft pick swaps and bugger all mention of Stomping Ground becoming the official Beer Partner.

Good news for the club and better news for those of us that enjoy a good beer. Those that prefer megaswill from clear glass stubbies may be less interested 😬

He is a big part of the problem, if he works harder on hitting some targets inside 50 rather than kicking it to the opposition then he would see improvement.

I hope Clarko had a good chat to him in his exit interview about coasting through the preseason like he did last season.

"You want to see improvement, then try leading from the front"

Some of these morons are too stupid to realise that pick 2 is better than pick 6 for starters. They seem to be stuck on the idea that 6 as a number is more than 2 and therefore, Richmond must be giving more. We are dealing with sub-optimal human beings.

We made it public that we're pretty open to splitting Pick 2.

6 and 10 sounds fantastic because of the flexibility it gives us in addressing list needs as opposed to drafting the best available.

Open to trading has somehow been interpreted as desperate to trade.

Yep.

Nothing wrong with going to the draft with our picks and picking someone speculative with whatever ends up being our 3rd pick. Much better than going in cheap.

I wouldn't be getting into too many negotiations with Tigers or anyone - that just shows a desperation. They - and other clubs - can put their best offers in and we'll tell them if we accept them. I wouldn't be haggling over 6/10 or 6/11 etc. Get them to bid what its worth and if its good enough or the best offer so be it. Otherwise they can FRO.

The tigers supporters are a special breed. Don’t ya remember them when you were young? Mates that were tiger supporters were the best value……always the loosest and funniest pricks, great sense of humour, because they had to have one. Had some great mates growing up who were tigers mad, so they feel they are back as the biggest club in the land. Good on em. Doesn’t matter.
Who cares, let ‘em carry on. They’ve earned it. At least they weren’t gifted their flags by FS or academy etc.
They’ve definitely been painful to engage with this trade period.
Tipping the wankfest ones all got on board in 2017 onwards, but there’s a few who still remind of the funny, quick-witted clowns I used to hang around with.

Hope it’s us one day with dynasty in our back pocket.

Collingwood has settled a wrongful dismissal claim brought by a former First Nations strategist who accused club CEO Craig Kelly of a series of racial slurs and attacks.
The Pies confirmed an out-of-court settlement had been reached on Monday with ex-staffer Mark Cleaver.
“Mark Cleaver and the Collingwood Football Club announce that the legal proceedings have been resolved,” a joint statement released by the club and Mr Cleaver said.
“It is requested that Mark’s privacy be respected and the parties have agreed not to make any further statements.”
The Herald Sun revealed in June that Cleaver had demanded at least $250,000 to drop his claim before Collingwood came back during mediation talks with a settlement offer of about $20,000.
It is not known if the settlement included a payment.

The scandal saw Dardi Munwurro, an Indigenous family violence group, dump the club as a partner – “effective immediately”.
In explosive court documents filed in the federal court, Kelly was accused of a series of slurs on Indigenous people, Asians and Jews, as well as physical attacks.
An internal Pies probe cleared Mr Kelly of wrongdoing.

Defending the club’s handling of Mr Cleaver’s complaints and his subsequent sacking, Collingwood president Jeff Browne declared in June: “We’re backing Craig Kelly in on this and we intend to fight these proceedings and see them through to a judgment.
“I’m not prepared to compromise the proceedings by paying any amount of money to make it go away.”

Mr Cleaver had alleged in court documents that Mr Kelly had described Aboriginal elder Aunty Carol – the wife of Dardi Munwurro chief executive Alan Thorpe – as a “dumb old bitch”.
Dardi Munwurro has had a partnership with Collingwood since 2017.
The court documents also detailed how Mr Kelly was accused of joking about putting a “live f---ing possum” in a special room at the club for Indigenous players.
And Mr Cleaver, a Palawa person, claimed in the documents that Mr Kelly quipped “why do you need Google Maps, I assume your people can navigate with their eyes closed” and joked about sending a photograph of a ‘Free Palestine’ sign to a Jewish colleague to wind her up

**** I love some of our young players.
Really hope they start getting some on-field success this year.
Chom seems like a bit of a galvanising player. I find him quite funny, but he seems to also have his finger on the alternative / arty pulse too (which I appreciate).
Nice to see George getting a bit more involved with the social stuff too.

Both really likeable blokes with a bit of humour. Both super aggressive players too, would run through a brick wall for the club. We are in good hands with these guys and quite a few others.
