I'll tell you a story - I was out at a establishment in the Ascot Vale area many years ago, was talking to a lovely lady making progress, in walks Carey, said girl looks at him says'cant stand him, such a w***er'. Feeling good I go to get some drinks , come back and low and behold said girl is over there chatting to Carey. She never came back for her drink and left establishment 15 minutes later with Carey.
So I can hold a grudge 🤣

From memory, he was even set on fire, or napalmed or something at one point.

He only has 9 good summers left - and presumably, 20 sh*t ones.

"I remember the night well, it was the late nineties I was at my footballing peak both on and off the field. I walked in to an establishment, I won't say which one, but it was in the Ascot Vale area 3032. As I entered I spotted a lovely lady sitting at the bar being chatted up by some guy. She looked over at me and said something to the guy like, “Can't stop him, such a winner”. It was then that I knew she'd come home with me. Anyway this guy leaves this lovely young lady to go buy some drinks, rookie error, I look over at her, gave her a wink and a smile and she was over in a flash. The guy comes back holding two drinks, she was never going back to him. We chatted for fifteen minutes and left. This stuff happened all the time, I hope he didn't take it personally and hold a grudge for the next 20 years"
