What a disgrace that Harry Sheezel wasn’t chosen and Zane was whose training habits have been questioned as has his loyalty to the long term future of the club.

Are we seriously making an issue over a jumper reveal for our 100 year anniversary.

Just let the club promote done stuff and stop looking for shitstorms in a tea cup.

Million things could have been included but they weren’t.

The Centennial Video is a joke.

No Carey, No Pagan, No Schimma.

But plenty of Zane Duursma????

Whoever gave the official green light on that video obviously has no feel for the history of the club.

If the Carey omission is deliberate due to his off-field discretions, that is a disgraceful decision by the club. Maybe the next step would be to scrap the 96 and 99 flags from our history because Wayne played in those??? We don’t win those flags without Wayne. End of story. Period.

And yeah, Sheezel has to get the gig ahead of Duursma. Seriously. What the hell is that about???

Just another poor decision by the once mighty NMFC.

Sure, not a big deal. It’s just a promotional video. But why bother with it if it’s not going to be done to an adequate standard?

Yep, by trying to surreptitiously show a club history without the problematic WC, they have drawn more attention to him, and social media will now have the hardworking oppo supporters ,thinking they're doing gods work, highlighting his list of grubby acts. People can say its a storm in a teacup, and on the surface it is, but it is either one of two things: a mistake, suggesting that our media manager is left to their own devices but doesnt have a clue about our history, or it is more likely a conscious omission, and in that case appears to be another decision by a board room that simply does not understand a single thing about the football community as a whole. That's a worry.

Technically, he was, lifting the 1999 cup. But WGAS? It's one minute's worth of "Come buy some merchandise"

I didn't watch it that hard and didn't notice either, so if by leaving him or anyone else out gets more people watching a fairly generic and forgettable clip, and therefore buying more merchandise, then fair enough.

Neither were included. But on the anti-woke-obsessive side of the fence, it appears there are no such concerns for indigenous players with a sordid history being overlooked. Wait for the meltdown when they are reminded Carey is indigenous.

Same here. I thought it was pretty obvious the focus was on the jumper and the evolution of, not necessarily the players.
 
So Jay Clark in today's Advertiser has as one of the headings "Langford in Crows sights", and the only reason they might do that is because of Langford's size and strength, no insider knowledge, no draft strategy and no other reasons other than his own thoughts. The other day it was suppose to be Jagga Smith, since Sam is supposed to go at pick #1 {nobody really knows} maybe Tuesday or Wednesday he'll find that Finn O'Sullivan has their interest as well, I mean he's only got Josh Smillie and Finn left now of the top midfielders so he's still got some work to do! :rolleyesv1:

The Carey-shaped silhouette is going to look really odd next to Jack Dyer on the podium, isn't it ..... unless you can somehow Photoshop him out of that shot, too.

Yes I'd absolutely be fine with Dani Laidley having nothing to do with the club too.

I don't know about you but I've never been even accused of crimes such as indecent assault, assault police or stalking.

I don't think that being free from violent crime convictions is a high bar to hold someone to at an organisation that should be family friendly.
