How many trades everybody saving for injuries thinkign about maybe a downgrade of Gamble next week to cheaper rookie freeing up 170,000 giving me a total of 240,000.

I can then either upgrade Stanton to anyone in mids or spend 120,000 on each of griffen and stanton. to 2 players around the 520,000 (looking at Bartell if only do one)

If you're not bullshitting then thats a very good team and you're very well placed. I'd be curious to see your trading history.

I'd bring in Gablett for sure, with trades to burn and cash on the bench Gablett is a must.

Whats your rank? Im 25th overall and very pumped up as i still have 13 trades left. I keep looking at my side and it has a few holes though, i wonder how i got my rank so high.

Im gonna start trading hard to fix them now though. My midfield is weak. I actually started Browne lol and my rank improved 40 places to 25 lol. This week will be upgrading Houli to someone but who any suggestions? Then Browne can get back on that bench. I also am trading out Tippett/Gamble to free up the cash to do so.

I also have Simmonds but not trading him out yet anyway. My backline is also a bit worrying I have the inconsistent Mundy, Osborne and Mattner starting.

Plenty of holes to fix so im wondering why no one is flogging me?

Looking through your team I couldnt believe you said you were ranked 25th when I would almost consider my side better and im ranked 7000th. Then it clicked. You have Ablett and I dont. Thats the difference this year between the good teams and the great ones.

Yep, your in reasonable shape.
Backs probably need some work. Bradshaw is feast or famine, can't see him maintaining form of earlier in the year, especially with JB in good touch. Look to trade up Osbourne and possibly Ibbotson. Lindsay Gilbee is in great touch after losing a lot of value, and I think Lake is a little under rated as well (although pricey).

Adcock and Palmer are the weak links in the middle. Ablett would be good, but you just have to baulk at the price now. Cooney may be next best option. If Cox opts for early surgery you may be able to free up the cash to get Ablett.

Forwards are good, but three inconsistent performers in Roughead, Fevola and Burton. I'd opt for ROK, Hall or Riewoldt over any of those three. Done well to keep a fistful of trades...some early blunders cost me...Stanton over Cooney! What was I thinking!

Cornes might come back and score big but it is highly doubtful. I'd scrap him for 08. Taylor is scoring well but is still far from being an SC elite come finals.

Not that many holes I don't think. Kruezer is the biggest one and then Palmer. I'm quite happy with Taylor or Woma as my 7th back.

Banking on Cox and C.Cornes to play the whole season but I have my doubts! Ha! Ha!

I will most likely upgrade one of my rookie mids to Ablett as my league isnt that strong and I think I can make it from the grand final when the other teams I'm against have more holes in their team than a fly wired door!
