yeah i wouldn't do it either, i would just keep the trades till finals then maybe do it. But if he did do it and was lucky, it could work out very good. Not that I would have any idea...but 3 trades might make it tough for the rest of the year.

Giday guys,
Thought I would consider my options during the split round on how I should complete my team.
I have 5 trades left and $120k in the kitty.
Shaw, S.Fisher, Newman, Gilbee, Drummond, Ibbotson, Wilkes (McLeod, Selwood)
Ablett, Kornes, Dal Santo, Priddis, Stevens, Cross (Cotchin, Ebert)
Cox, Simmonds (Hampson, Meeson)
Franklin, Pavlich, Riewoldt, Brown, B.Johnson, Delidio, Chapman (Morton, Hansen)
I will wait out and see how McLeod is healing, but if out for a while will trade to a premium back.
Thinking i need to upgrade Simmonds asap too, then ride my luck with injuries and fill the gaps.
Any thoughts?
The trades I was thinking about this week are Wilkes > Bowden and Tippet > Murphy/Aker. Any better ideas. Help is muchly appreciated as I am currently ranked 939th and would like to break into the top 500 in the coming weeks.
your probably right about bowden but I already have delidio. do you think i need to upgrade those areas or my midfield more.
What do I do?
I've got Myers, Wilkes and Hansen all starting and Cornes and McLeod on the pine...
Ibbo is alot better than Tippet and Wilkes. Upgrade those two first, then if you want you can upgrade Ibbo.
Happy to help - but need more info than that: Who else is in your backline, how many trades do you have & how much $$$?
7 trades left and $115k.
Team is as follows:
B: J McDonald, H Shaw, L Gilbee, M Mattner, D Bradshaw, C Cornes, T Kennelly (D Myers, S Selwood)
M: G Ablett, A Cooney, A Goodes, B Harvey, J McVeigh, N Stevens (B Houli, T Cotchin)
R: D Cox, T Simmonds (M Kreuzer, J Meesen)
F: M Pavlich, J Porplyzia, J Brown, N Riewoldt, B Burton, A Didak, L Harding (J Morton, L Hansen)
Next trade will be to cash in Houli then upgrade Harding and Simmonds, leaving me 4 trades for finals.
I think my team is complete and i am happy with it except that i don't have Ablett and Franklin. 5 trades and approx 30k in the bank.
Shaw, Milburn, Johncock, Mattner, Birchall, Gilbee, Newman (Proud, Hansen)
Bartel, Dal Santo, K.Cornes, Hayes, N. Stevens, B.Harvey (Armfield, Ward)
Cox, Sandilands (Kruezer, Hampson)
Riewoldt, Pavlich, B.Johnson, S.Johnson, Bradshaw, J.Brown, Porplyzia (Morton, Daniher)
Nice team...did you never have Cornes or have u traded him out recently
Never actaully had Cornes. In hindsight it has turned out good but after the first 3 or 4 rounds i was regretting not getting him.
My bad...
Current backline is:
H Shaw, D Milburn, M Mattner, G Birchall, D Myers, B Wilkes, L Hansen (C Cornes, A McLeod)
Yeah I know, it's a weak backline...
Umm, 6 trades left and 1k o) in the kitty...
No intentions to get rid of Cornes
That's a strong team. What's your current ranking? Is it worth looking at McLeod given his current injury and lack of decent scores this year?
Gotta say I'm not a fan of Corey for SC - DT definitely, but just doesn't pull the big scores on SC although is consistent. I just added Boomer, good option around a similar price and currently ranked 9th overall.
