He wasn't our choice in committee discussions but that's by the by now and I respect his position. As the admins before him he will have my help and support in anything that is good for this league and my arguements when it's not!
Please get involved and if you want some role in the League ask AB, I always encourage Warriors to get amongst it and be part of everything here. As you all know I'll be stepping back so it will be a new era not just for the League but for the Warriors too

Round 16
Wazzas v Gold City Royals at Van Cortlandt Park

Well we made it to the end but it wasn't pretty. After a light week on the track, we went through the motions on Sunday. With our minds casting forward to our impending finals campaign, we were ambushed in the first quarter and despite a valiant effort to claw our way back, we ended up falling just short in the end, defeated by 12 points by the Gold City Royals at Van Cortlandt Park.

So we finish the home and away season in 2nd place, runner up to the all conquering reigning premiers and S27 minor premiers the Demons. Having secured the double chance, we head into a 2nd straight finals campaign with two home games at VCP as we push to go deep into June after an early exit in S26.





Match Report
After giving up the first 8 goals of the game, we were always going to struggle to get back into the game, but after winning the last 3 quarters, it went own the wire, but an inaccurate Gold City managed to hold us off, despite a four goal to one last quarter.

Wooshette (23 disposals) was best on with an incredible 21 hitouts giving us first use but we just weren't able to capitalise early. zackah (24 touches, 3 marks, 1 goal) and pantskyle (22 touches, 5 tackles, 1 goal) were ever reliable in the middle, while leobarryustar & Raveneyes both managed 4 goals a piece up front and did their bit in what was a good hit out ahead of our upcoming finals campaign.

Match threads were out nice and early, candie shared a touching story about his mother, shamed the clueless Royals and pants has been giving his brother the shits.

This Week
After finishing runner up in the home and away season, we now go straight into a home Qualifying Final at home seeking a week off and passage into the prelim. This week sees us host the 3rd placed Gumbies FFC in the Second Qualifying Final.
