Despite ClarkeM's limp protestations, we were just too ****ing good for the hapless Wonders, as we led at every change to romp home 39 point winners in front of a stunned Colosseum. The loss consigning them to the bottom of the ladder at the halfway point of the season.

The big win sees us gain some much needed percentage, as we look to solidify our place in the eight. We currently sit half a game clear of the Bears in 7th spot but with just half a game between us and 10th, we need to start stringing some wins together in the back half of S28.

Coney Island Warriors 17.14 (116) defeated Fighting Furies 16.12 (108)

A distracted Furies, missing their talisman Tigerturbulance failed to fire on Sunday after an as expected low key week, as a handy first quarter lead saw us hang on to that slim margin all day, managing to win what amounted to an arm wrestle at home in front of a packed VCP by a kick, as we dashed their top of the table hopes, beating the Furies by 8 points in the end.

That's two wins on the trot, officially kicking off #thestreak once again. We're now sitting in 5th place with half a game in hand, but still just that half a game from the 9th placed Dragons, part of the logjam in the middle of the table.
