I know it's not a big issue but why's pendles not good enough for AA captain. They gave it as charity to buddy last year so what's the issue.

Can’t wait for him to become the all time Collingwood games holder.

Couldn’t be a more fitting player to have it. Hopefully adds Premiership captain to his list of accolades. Shame it’s safe to say Brownlow won’t be added. He’d be one of the best mids of all time to never win one.

I think we’ve only lost one Pendlebury milestone match. We’ve won all the others and he generally plays well against the Cats.

He might not hold it for long. I reckon Sidey might have him covered for longevity!!

Absolutely love this:hearteyes::hearteyes:, no problems with him getting a nod over Treloar. Pendleburys just simply been more damaging at pivotal moments.

Absolutely believe this man is the player of this decade. Is the perfect age to play at a high level through the whole time period. Hit his peak 2010 and has played at the level ever since. If you value Sustained excellence through the whole time period, no one compares.

GAJ has dropped off last couple of years, plus missed a lot through injury. Fyfe didn’t hit his straps till the 2013ish period. Judd retired. Danger wasn’t quite Danger in the early 2010’s. Franklins has declined/is declining. Sure some have hit higher highs, but none have done it for the whole 2010’s.

Congrats on another AA, and 300 next week. Crazy. Going to be a sad time when this man retires. I hardly even know/remember what Collingwood is without him.

Pendles has had an outstanding year, capped off by this award. Six AAs rightly puts him in the upper echelons of the AFL. And to do it five years after he was last awarded, further emphasises how good he is. There's something steely (no pun intended) about Pendles this year. Has the air of a man on a mission. Possibly niggle-free for the first time in a while too.

He could easily have been the AA captain, or even vice-captain. No disrespect to Fyfe who is another great player, but his team has floundered this year, so I query him being annointed captain. Pendles, on the other hand, has stood up on numerous occasions to help us over the line in 2019.

Despite his busted finger maybe?!? :D I feel like if you had a timelapse, his body would slowly grow a new finger under the old one, before waiting on the old one to drop off. All in a 48 hour period.

Yikes - forgot about his finger! He's had two broken legs during his career too? No soft tissue stuff for Pendles. He goes straight to the bone.
