Congratulations David Rodan - 100 games!

Well done David Rodan, especially considering his injuries and having being delisted.

Fast became one of my absolute favourite players when he joined the club last year.

His character typifies Port Adelaide entirely.

Fantastic midfielder both inside and out (which can't be said for a lot of players). Puts his head over the ball to win the clearances, runs with the ball to break the lines, has silky smooth skills, always chases and tackles, gives 100% effort even when our team is down, is possibly the strongest player in the AFL in terms of pound for pound strength, and has pace to burn (which is remarkable given his frame).

Love the guy, and am very happy to see him reach this personal milestone after all his setbacks.

He is a gun, and showed why he is just that, in his 100th game today.

He is a great player and is still getting better. He made a couple of crucial game breaking plays today, along the outer wing and then kicking that running goal.

His effort down the wing that lead the Motlops goal was fantastic. That whole play should be counted a GOTY not just Motlops kick.

Favourite player at Port and came back after a couple of lean weeks with a great game. Congrats David!!

What I like about Rodan is his ability to lift when others in the side aren't pulling their weight.

He had 2-3 quiet matches before today, but before anyone could suggest his position in the side was in doubt, he pulled his finger out. Did the same earlier in the year against the Crows.

We really need other players to meet his standard of endeavour.

Rodan = absolute gem. Don't you love it when you roll the dice and it pays off? We could have another 7 or 8 oustanding seasons outta this fella.

The thing with him (as well as motlop) is that even though he's a 'recycled' player, there is nothing about his game to suggest that he can play for us for just a couple of seasons more (like fan fave josh mahoney) as opposed to playing on til he's 30 or even beyond, hoping he can have some good fortune with avoiding injury.
