We don't even need to speculate. Look at the UK that has large percentage of their population vaccinated and are seeing a rise in cases. Was always going to happen when you get people mixing again.
What are the chances our state government allows hospitalisations in the thousands?

Negligible. We only have around 2,000-odd ICU beds in the entire country.

Once you account for the usual heart attacks, accidents, strokes, surgical complications and other reasons people end up there, the remainder of those resources will evaporate real quick.

Wednesday onwards Adelaide oval would be ok I think?

Reset. Festival of football over the next few weeks. Same format as last time shorter quarters etc. Get the home and away season out of the way asap. Then reset for finals.

We need sterile corridor exemptions from hub to hub rings of steel.. am I doing this right?

Outside of NSW case number are so low and the testing and controls regime strict enough form the AFL it would be a miracle if an AFL players or associated staff got covid. They should be smart about doing their risk assessments. The people want their footy while they can't do much out of the house.

NSW teams families?
Where are they at present?
Is this another issue have we stranded them somewhere?
If so if I'm a Swans/GWS player that's getting sorted before I'm going anywhere.

Create a hub in the country and not in the cities, we are not playing these games in front of people anyway. Less likely to be get the virus to stop the season.

How much has this cost thus far flying and hotels?

Mini "Las Vegas" in the outback......
