SA Health should define what they consider is an acceptable risk. The whole idea behind the quarantine restrictions was to flatten the curve so as to not overwhelm the healthcare system but it seems now the aim is to have zero new cases which is impossible in the long run. the Crows are just a convenient excuse to unnecessarily prolong closed borders. I’m betting the travel restrictions will ease once the government starts losing votes.

From the front page of today's Monopoly Times. Maybe Steve, Grant and Nicola can explain why it is not safe to go to the pub and have a beer or sit in a cafe and have a coffee but this is...

The same question is asked in today's Monopoly Times. Maybe the COVID-19 virus doesn't have a ticket to ride?

Because you can’t have open slather. Yes they need to do something about this but two wrongs don’t make a right, they make a disaster.

That’s not taken recently. On tram just then in peak hour and nobody sitting next to each other. Everyone 1.5m apart. Still very empty.

Who wants open slather? This isn't about right or wrong and no one is saying that the SA border should be open simply that AFL players should be able to FIFO with strict adherence to protocols. Where do you think the greatest risk of infection rests? Flying in AFL players under strict quarantine protocols or among several hundred passengers crammed into a train without any social distancing?

Perhaps you should get off the tram and catch the Gawler train because that is where the photo was taken on Tuesday!

As Marshall has said everyone is naturally banging down his door with the reason why their particular thing should be allowed first. Fly in and out of Victoria the hotbed of the virus at the moment..not that keen.

Drones need to work man!
We can't have affluent people catching it at a restaurant!

This virus was spread around the world by the wealthy and then impacted hardest on the poor!

No one is isolating any more and we still have no new cases.

Just let everyone out FFS.

Not true, not all oldies are allowed out of nursing homes and family can visit. Enter from interstate or overseas and you have to go into 14 day quarantine unless you have an exemption. Other oldies are advised to stay home. Pretty much same for non oldies with respiratory issues.

But yes the majority of people have left their homes to go back to work and get out and about.

That is just unacceptable. The Marshall Government and SA Health have been ultra-cautious with reopening the state and easing restrictions and are forcing both AFL clubs into hubs or interstate, yet this goes on with trains and will until at least the end of the week.

Adelaide Metro took 50 out of the fleet of 70 diesel carriages out of operation and is running weekend timetables on most services (except the electrified Seaford line) with minimal carriages. Just of late they have added an extra carriage to some services.

The hilarious irony is the public service announcement at stations exhorting you to observe social distancing guidelines while on the trains. How? By standing on the roof?

They are not even running extra bus services from rail/bus interchanges to ease the congestion.

But "Adelaide Metro apologises for any inconvenience" ... like illness and death

We have however been told that if public transport is too full then its our fault for getting on.
We should wait for the first service that is not full. Government won't wear the blame for this.

This is far from over.
I'm slowly coming to grips with the realisation that I'll probably never go overseas again, at least not for 3 years, which is a problem as its almost impossible to get work in my new career here. I was planning to study for 12 months then try to get work OS for 2 or 3 years.

Bugger.

Well I guess I can make software to amuse myself.

it is not about isolating it is about social distancing and we still have to social distance even when we are out of isolation.

Why were you 2 hours late for work?
Too many people on the train boss
You're fired.

ban the crows and let port play because Ben Hart still think's its the team for all south australian and everyone lets the crows get away with murder:drunk:

No, I'm enjoying the lack of handshaking ie. no sweaty grips, people who have just come from the shitter.. we should continue this post Covid 19.

I think we should start polite bowing. Either that or fully sick hang ten hand signals.
