These people couldnt give two stuffs about people in Bali struggling to feed their families as they have no job, or people in US locking their children in basements because they have a disease they cant spread.

Every single person has a job, has never not had a job and has not received any negative result from this so in a way are happy for the continuation of the scenario.

China created the virus, they created the response theory, they refused to abide by directions from WHO about investigations, they refused to share the truth about the virus initially

In any sense you are dismissing the concept of coercion vs direct influence via the national narrative. If the media tells everyone to fear death and everyone promotes the concept then the govt reacts to the narrative produced and its essentially whats happening

A lot like how Chinese govts influence other elections, create military coups in neighbouring countries and what not, they throw there will around via misinformation and thereafter controlling the narrative. - manufacturing in China will be badly afftected as companies shift factories off shore, causing huge job loses
- retaliatory action on China Trade will be inevitable
- the west will place huge pressure on Countries involved with the 'belt and road" program to dump it and thereby scuttle China strategic plans
- competitive pressures and tariffs on all Chinese companies eg, Huwaei will continue to grow
I could go on.

It is patently without foundation to say China has unleashed this virus on the World given the adverse impacts on its Economy and "loss of Face" Globally that would have ensued.
