Tell me is there a point - in your opinion - where life becomes so intolerable it is no longer worth it?What about where the health of community relies upon actions of the individual?
Can people be trusted to make personal choices that protect or benefit others?
Remember when people could quarantine at home right at the start? Until all those people didn't quarantine at home and instead went out and about not giving a sh*t about the community? Yeah, I do.
What happens if they don't?Huh? Thousands of people are getting contacted and told to get tested.
Well they may or they may not, but something working is not a justification for doing that thing.
But will it get past " the burning ring of fire"
Positive.You sure about that?

Wow if you were in charge, the hospitals would be full of sick and the dying.600 cases in NYC today and MSG is full for NBA, street parties packed to watch the game in times square and outside MSG
5 cases in Victoria = lockdown
The mentally ill are in charge
Is there a point to this rambling?I'm 54 and had no vaccines 89 year old mother no vaccines my kids 25 and 21 no vaccines, nieces no vaccines.
Non of us are on medication, so I guess who needs science.

A world so fearful as this, a world that values mere survival over and above everything does not sit well with me.
As far as I am concerned those who have succumb to this fear and wish to feed it are no longer fit to live. They can be of no use to anyone including themselves. They promote helplessness in themselves and everything they touch. The very thing they are trying to avoid has conquered them - they are dead. The only thing that keeps them going is to spread their gospel of fear - as the one thing misery loves is company.
A community is an association of sovereign individuals with shared interests. It is not hive of automats all believing the same thing and afraid of their own shadow. We all have instincts which have served us so well that we all share DNA since the beginning of time. We are those instincts.
When did you hand over your sovereignty to your government? What remains of you except to parrot what they tell you to think? All of history screams that this is an outrage.
A war has been declared against the sovereign individual - you have chosen your side - I'm sticking with my instincts - bring it on.
Why not tell the vulnerable ie. the elderly and those with comorbidities to self isolate and let the rest of society get on with their lives?
So none of yr family has ever been vaccinated? That makes your family selfish and irresponsible .I'm 54 and had no vaccines 89 year old mother no vaccines my kids 25 and 21 no vaccines, nieces no vaccines.

Well yes they work like banning cars would reduce the road toll to zero, but it doesn't really solve anything long term does itAnd you're quite welcome to argue that they're not justified. But it's folly to argue they don't work, when by definition, not seeing anyone else makes it impossible to catch or spread anything.
Why not tell the vulnerable ie. the elderly and those with comorbidities to self isolate and let the rest of society get on with their lives?
I can not see the sense in locking down an entire population for a virus that has a negligible impact on the vast majority of the population.
You're not as important as you think you are. Others are more community minded, you are a selfish conspiracy theorist.Tell me is there a point - in your opinion - where life becomes so intolerable it is no longer worth it?

Work out the numbers of people, all the workers for those groups and their families etc... and you simply end up with an unworkable amount of society having to isolate.

The analogy at your funeral will read " lived life to the fullest"Is there a point to this rambling?
That's where sick and those dying go...Wow if you were in charge, the hospitals would be full of sick and the dying.
What an irresponsible joke you are comparing an almost covid free Island country with a country that has huge vaccination rates already.
Random guess once again
Have a think for a moment about the number of people involved in aged care (patients and staff) plus their close contacts such as family, then add anyone with a high risk comorbidity such as obesity or diabetes, and their close contacts, then any medical staff. It's a lot of people.
Well yes they work like banning cars would reduce the road toll to zero, but it doesn't really solve anything long term does it

I wasn't joking. You hysterical losers can keep looking under your bed for monsters but there's literally nothing to fear. You are plebs
Its less then the entire community thats isolating in Melbourne today
Like tearing down community and sending people to financial ruin because you're scared of a virus with a 99.98% survival rate that only a handful of people have here. Yeah, what a sense of communityOthers are more community minded,
