I know someone who lives in Prague and they went on a holiday last week to Italy.

The last I heard from them I think it was just 'compulsory mask' when outside and that was it.

My mate has been lounging by the pool at a pretty swank looking joint in tuscany this last week - geez it looked good. Pretty sure its basically back to normal there

It works both ways.

A few people I know in Europe have messaged with their news reporting that all of Australia now has a curfew.
Yeah the lack of fact checking in the 24 hour news cylce is alarming

The entire country was ablaze a few months ago.

Oh, and "That's what the text I received said, and it was confirmed on facebook" == raised eyebrows you took something so stupid at face value. :) ;) :) :) /s etc.

The Andrews’ Cabinet has considered proposals to close down most construction sites, leaving only uncompleted residential sites and works necessary for safety open.

Let's see if this one is 100% true.

In a shock move, senior government sources have revealed that the Andrews Government is also discussing proposals to allow Bunnings to remain open for trade customers only.
Sounds like some of the details might take a little longer to be finalised.

A friend sent me the 12 page pdf - could be legit, but there's a few oddities like butchers being closed when he said specifically they wouldn't be.
Maybe with meat preparation/storage/supply chains being such a high risk, including during the delivery component, it would not surprise me if they want to channel the meat/poultry related compliance monitoring through the supermarkets.

I wonder if Andrews will keep going with these daily update COVID-19 Press Conferences for the next 6 weeks?

With no parliament sitting and all the restrictions in Victoria, he'll probably have time for it.

Maybe they will consider using more technology to present the data, and sex things up a bit, like on Election night.
