There was excess deaths in most countries / regions that got smashed by COVID running rampant, from memory there was a guy who works for the Financial Times that did fantastic work gathering that data, I can't remember his twitter handle though.

There economy is way better then most. They retracted 2.7% but grew back faster in 2021 then anyone else thereafter. Italy retracted 9% in comparison. So how is that not better then anyone elses exactly?

Did you mean excess death in other areas? I think I got that statement confused? I thought you meant say Covid caused increases in heart attacks due to lack of hospital beds or something

EDIT : Oh I see what you did re; Nordic countries. Why did you narrow the search field to 5 countries for as opposed to well the EU as a whole? You want to compare Australia to Brazil but not Sweden to Italy? Thats just stupid

She is spot on in a lot of what she says.
This is an attempt to control and bring in authority.
At least the US has 300+ million so enough opposition.

I used a different wording at the start of it and said it was the Communist Playbook 101 straight out of 1918 Russia. I predicted that
-"Pretty soon you will need papers to go interstate or a pass. (No no was the response they would never do that. (Guess I was wrong can't even go interstate)

- "Government will limit protest and declare an emergency. (Don't be stupid that would never happen. It has.

Next will be a type of Social Credit Score. It will start with who gets a vaccine and who doesn't but then move onto surveillance tracking who goes where and what are approved purchases/activities/social groups. Essentially cuts opposition.

We have been sold down the river by our Politicians, Legal System and most major institutions.
Beware those that enforce this too rapidly. They have an authoritarian mindset and just itch for control. These are the people authorities rely on to dob their neighbors.

Brilliant! The Government should hire Ben to be the face of vaccination ads instead of the two-bit celebs we get.
Ben could take the jab and then in memory of his famous evasion of a Drink Driving Charge - he could swim across the Swan River to prove that the vaccine has no side effects.

I dare say it may raise the mental health of the morbidly obese to NOT see people exercising for a change, I guess that's something, right Magda?

Magda like the rest is well paid to endorse the message. Odd tweet and maybe she is one of the paranoid but pretty soon she like the Sunrise folk etc will be wheeled out to promote the latest bullshit.

This thought has crossed my mind and its possible. But then why he fear campaign and stories that don't make sense. Most who get it don't know they have it and are swanning around as usual after a few weeks. 99yos are surviving it even. Also something like a pathogen that is airborne (i.e. A weaponized aerosol released pathogen is the only way you can catch it brushing past) would act instantly not in these weird stages.

I'd say its exaggerated to push an agenda

I don't mind scanning QR codes or wearing a mask at the airports, it's hardly a major inconvenience, but at the same time the governments are clearly seeing how far they can push people. The "frog in boiling water" analogy always comes to mind.

People can hate all they like. The virus is BS and the propaganda machine did a brilliant job, except it didn’t work on some and the more they peddle this hoax, the more people are waking up to it. I’ve lost some friends in my endeavors in trying to Red Pill the believers, but made some staunch allies in the process.

The Cognitive Dissonance is alive and well with this one and I don’t mind calling it out for what it is, “the hoax of the century”. Rather than attack me, better to look a little deeper into the global stats and work it out for yourselves if you are one that has been hoodwinked.

"You never lose friends in life, but you find out who the true ones are".

People should be mature enough to agree to disagree, so that's their loss.

My issue with the QR codes is the constant surveillance of your every move. I very rarely take my phone out and I pay for everything in cash. It's as off the grid as I'm gonna get now

It’s amazing how close contact was defined as 15-20 minutes early on in the pandemic and now the virus has become conscious and is attacking its victims at near imaginable speed. It’s also so contagious and deadly that we still have single digit positive cases per day. What a time to be alive!

It's conditioning for when a whole lot of stuff will be added to the government apps and a social credit system you will have to pass before you can enter any venue.
 
Issue with Magdas stance also is the fact that the wider someone is, the heavier that person breathes also, which therefore puts her in a much larger risk factor then the average person in terms of spreading the virus?

Instead of masking joggers, wouldnt it make sense to place extra restrictions on heavy people so they contact less people with her heavy breathing patterns? Id personally look to ban them from all restaurants until the entire community is vaccinated

I pay with cash as much as possible to avoid having an insanely long bank statement. I dont care if the authorities know that I popped into Subway for lunch!

Peoples Goldfish memories always amaze me.
We rocked 800+ cases a day last year with no excess deaths. (Total Influenza + Covid deaths and they are comparable with other years)
We were told it was 2 weeks to beef the health system up
We were told no longer than necessary

Now we have single digit cases and there is a scramble to shut down.
