our lockdown down here will be extended for sure.

Last year they made a decision on the grand final in the first week of august. You would assume the same this year. Last time it took Victoria 7 weeks to go from no crowd to 85%. Make of all of that what you will.

UK data I saw online

Hospital rates:

Despite recording closer to double the amount of cases per 7-days currently they were recording during their last major outbreak, the hospitalisation rate is roughly 75% less than the previous wave. This is Delta variant as well, the same that is Sydney and now Melbourne.

Deaths:

Nearly 300 deaths per 7 days last time, down to under 50 now.

3rd Gladys presser in a row she hasn't mentioned that someone has died in Hospital from Covid.
Also how does a Tiktoc account know the exact case numbers at 10pm the previous night and at the NSW 11am presser they are the correct number.
Its his brother or sister or someone he knows that works for NSW Health. He always posts after the number is finalised. From 8pm that number doesn't change.

He has been doing the number for the next day and the Gov don't release it till 11am
Yeah but the number the govt release at 11am is the number to 8pm the night before. This bloke posts his video anytime from 9pm to 11pm. So if he knows someone that works for NSW Health, which by all reports he does, then he could easily know the number the night before.

The Victoria numbers are to 8 pm as well, it's a national standard for reporting COVID cases. We use to release the numbers at Dan's daily presser until it kept getting leaked so the DHS now just release it at 9 am. NSW have done it at 11 am right throughout the pandemic

The numbers are reviewed overnight so they can gather where a positive case is, if they have been isolating and been in the community and how they came into contact with the virus. This is why the numbers are held back overnight, to give the contract tracers extra time to get a fuller picture available for the next day's release.

They also need to work out if there are any false positives that might bring the final number down. It's not as if 8 pm rolls around and they are all the information ready to go. They still need to work out the important underlying questions around the number of positive cases. It's great that this guy has the numbers for the day at 10 pm. I would be far more impressed if he had the number of cases that were in the community at 10 pm.

Thank you for that explanation , but seriously that woman should release them at 9 then . Also would of helped if she listened to Chant 3 weeks ago.

I am pretty sure Vics are midnight to midnight not to 8pm

If tonight’s game went ahead yesterday as originally scheduled and then we find out certain players needed to isolate. Then having played the game would both teams needs too self isolate for two weeks?

Ignoring that sliding doors moment were the players in self isolation since they arrived in Queensland?

Good question. I thought since all players flew together and trained together, every single one of them should quarantine. I don't understand why only those that are classified as attending a tier 2 venue are now in quarantine. I think Ralphy also mentioned they've had 2 covid tests since leaving Vic.
