But does the crazy whackjob conspiracy forum have threads on all the clubs?
Luke Shuey is illuminati
Jack Darling is a hero
Rioli is Ryan is Rioli
Freo is Fanta to West Coast's Coca-Cola
That last one is legit btw
I don't think it's that, our numbers were fairly high in previous potential outbreaks.Yeah you're probably right. Numbers have been super low. I was wondering if that because we don't give a fk in WA?
Probably Covid burnout/overload is a factor too.Yeah you're probably right. Numbers have been super low. I was wondering if that because we don't give a fk in WA?
100% this.Checking in seems wise to me. You can be contacted and advised of an exposure site so at least you can grab a RAT and check yourself. Otherwise you need to surf the exposure sites daily, cross check it with your bank account to try and work out where you were and when.
I agree with the testing, but they haven't pushed enough with the "whether or not you've been to an exposure site, if you have symptoms, get tested". I also suspect there a cohort who are happier to avoid testing because they don't want to be locked up for two weeks. They're happier to self isolate (or not isolate) and skate through without being tracked.
Good to see some common sense being applied, hopefully the borders arent far away now.
Getting too hard to keep the granny killer narrative going without Stokesy on board anymore I guess
We had some family fly in today for two weeks quarantine with their little one. Guessing that's now 7 days and they'll be out!
Nah it’s not retrospective, so anyone who arrived today has to do the full 14 days.
(just kidding)
Came into effect from weekend. If they get a test day 1 and day 7 test is negative they in the clear.Whilst they've undoubtedly steeled themselves for the full two weeks, what a kick in the Stevey J that would be!
They were due to fly from Vic to Qld, holiday then fly into WA, and had to scrap all that after catching Covid just days before their flight. They were renting and had sent EVERYTHING back to WA already, so then had to grab an AirBnB and tread water until they could get back home.
It's been a series of kicks in the Stevey J for them..

My understanding from being adjacent to a 6pr nuffie at work.
Have been wrong before so double check.
I highly doubt it's Covid fatigue. In the case of WA I'd say it's Covid ignorance.
Teams that get COVID infecting most of their players in pre-season will be in a much better place than those who dodge it (as it seems like the chance of re-infection is low within 6 months). Given the estimated timing of WA's surge being in March, we are at risk of copping a bunch of sick players either just before the season or during the early rounds.Behind the AFL plan to ensure COVID-hit Melbourne clubs still field sides each week
The AFL is meeting with all clubs this week to canvas options and put their preferred scenarios to them about how to handle the prospect of COVID-19 ruling out large numbers of players.www.theage.com.au
Obviously not up to date with WAs new iso requirements, but be interesting to see what happens with the WA/SA clubs
Im glad they recovered and saw sense. Why staunch anti-vaxxer got the jab
A staunch anti-vaxxer from Queensland who said vaccine mandates were a form of “segregation” has quickly changed his tune.www.news.com.au
Unfortunately thats the reality. It's wild that catching it and getting very sick is what it takes to change someone's mind.
"Oh sh*t, you mean this thing that's disrupted the entire world is actually real?"
