Geeses you get yourself back in the top 10 and look what you do?! Sunblest is a Tip Top bread and as the Gimp stated they ranked 2nd. Wouldn't be surprised to see you take a deep slide on this one!
Shit. Damn you google. I've got to do more research on shite before I post.

Although, it's good to know that I can now refer to The Gimp as the Tip Top kid.

Leaping to the Gimp's defence must be worth a rise by a spot or two, especially as I was inexplicably relegated from 5th to 6th. Hey Gimp?
 :tonguewink:

Join the club. I keep sliding, no explanation given. Disheartening. Demotivating. Disturbing. Other things starting with ‘D‘.

It’s like this around here:

Yep agreed, bread should be simple. Flour, starter, salt, water, and optionally some oil. The longer it can sit the better.

It shouldn't be mass produced, it should not contain bread improvers, and it should not contain any commercial yeasts.

These days I will only enjoy bread a couple of times a week, but good bread is one of life's simple pleasures. Just like awesome coffee!
What starter do you use? I like making bread but I use yeast and buy Laucke Bread mix (Crusty Bread), has its own yeast and it is fantastic.

My brother-in-law maintains his own starter so I use that when I can, the sourdough taste is amazing. If I can't get starter I buy a different yeast depending on what I'm baking. Pizza base uses a different yeast (fast-rising) to bread for example. Laucke is fine and I've used it, any good active dry yeast works well for bread, it just needs time.

I tried making sour dough for a while, as I can't get it here and really miss it. Had a chemistry experiment bubbling away in the corner of the kitchen. After a heap of tries I finally made a couple of pretty good loaves, but then the bloody dog got in to the starter. I gave up and now go with commercial yeast with yoghurt mixed in to the dough - Jathanas wouldn't touch it, but it's better than what The Gimp eats.

Really though, with so many fantastic boutique bakeries available to us all you're plumbing the depths if a commercially produced supermarket bread is your culinary go-to option. So surely it becomes a moot point.

If there wasn't any bread left in the world, I would be the first to die.

I love my bread, it needs to have weight, solid (no holes) and firm. When you spread the butter, shouldn't change shape.
Commercial breads are light and fluffy, yuk. May as well eat cotton balls.

Just saw on Instagram that Trey Ruscoe is on his way back (or at least has his bag packed). What is the actual dates they're working towards? Seems a lot of interstate players have been asked to return to base...?

Apologies that this is off topic to the food discussion. Which is really making me want to try my hand with cooking, by the way!

Sounds like the loaf I've had in cupboard for the last couple of weeks, it's yours if you like

According to Eddie by next week training in smaller groups (I'm guessing 10) then 2 weeks later training amongst the full group for another 2 weeks, then playing by mid June.

I don't understand why everyone is kicking up a stink about their positions on the ladder.. soups put in a mighty effort with a coupla of his serious gourmet shit.. and the gc redeemed himself cooking bread that looks half reasonable you can actually eat with foods.. and not just butter it like that cane toad loaf he posted and that re.

Normally I like to cook a shit load of sweets every Easter.. this is a photo of what I managed to achieve last yr.. had to install commercial shelving and that re.. I don't mess about. Those labels are names of my aunts uncles other relos and friends and how much to distribute to each and that re..

I very much doubt whether Gone Critical would have the attitude or aptitude to bake bread.

He should go to last for posting a photo of a goddamn toasted sandwich. I console myself with the knowledge that his impatience would have gotten the better of him and the tomato did a sterling job of blistering the roof of his mouth.

Rare footage showing that The Gimp wasn't always such a stylish dresser.

Knowledge is power.......the truth will come out eventually.

This Doctor’s Youtube Video that had 9 million hits was taken down last week.

This is two hours long but worth watching. I think you will enjoy it TheGreatGrundy and you also ottoman especially the micro chipping of humans part.

Will be interesting to see if they train in different locations or just do ten one day, ten the next, etc.

Probably end up touching all of the same equipment and balls anyway, probably defeats the purpose!

Our location lends itself to a little of everything really. Have 10 out on the oval, 10 inside on the gym equipment, 10 running the tan, 10 doing cross training over at the tennis centre or at AAMI if the storm are going to be up at Albury as suggested, the standard 1/2 dozen doing rehab work. Stop, clean, rotate groups.

So does this mean we get to talk footy again? And not bread, or the Gimp’s completely arbitrary and ill-considered judgements about posters? Hoo bloody ray!

I’ve missed it.:'(

I am still of the belief that we will see footy again this year, still 5 months left.

Here is a good video, if you have spare time on your hands. (Good luck finding rubbing alcohol though).

Natural remedies for all things of the body and a few others.

To the best of my knowledge, and I just checked via google, you can use the isopropyl instead of rubbing alcohol.

Still can't buy that either, I had a bottle but made up a spray like in the video a few months back but have been to several chemists and not in stock.
