Whilst I would generally agree that there is little difference between labour and liberal, particularly at federal level, there is a huge difference in the state of Victoria.

Relatively speaking, I agree.

Souva night.

We used lamb koftas and chicken thighs. Souvas are just like laksa in that sense, whatever you have in your fridge can work (within reason).

I don’t doubt that they’re dodgy as hell.

I’m just saying that it has nothing to do with what happened with the early tester and how it was handled. I don’t think the 2 things are connected.

However, how the workers are treated by management and the systems in place to keep them safe, that’s another story.

Also, if the thumb dude had lied and made contact later, I’m not sure what could be done about it.

The fact you brought up the thumb dude speaks volumes about the bullshit they’re feeding us atm.

I have nothing but respect for you Kirby and I don’t care much about Politics but I am over the restrictions now.

It’s time we got our lives back.

Precisely.. little distinction between liberal and labour.. hence why even worry about the difference.. it's pointless.. actually those who follow one party and not the other.. then defend the party they follow without acknowledging the good in the other.. they are no different to the politicians feuding over bullshit on the morning news.. full of shit.

So why bother with it..
Back in the 90s and earlier I was a staunch Labour supporter and would never have considered voting Liberal. Now I probably would vote Labour if I felt they had more to offer the average person, but actually felt Turnbull best mirrored my own views when he first achieved leadership and at least had some charisma that no one else offered.

However, like Obama, his sheen quickly wore off as he was cut back to size by extremely conservative colleagues and he too became inconsequential. I didn't actually vote Liberal because I was out of the country, but the political leaders of both parties since have actually seemed to take politics back into negative territory, where I no longer feel any allegiance to either party.

Now that the parties are falling over themselves in an effort to insulate this country for what seems like forever from the perils of a virus that barely impacts upon us, I have been prepared to concede they have done well to keep numbers so low, but .... OK I am going to shut up. There is nothing more to be said that I haven't already stated ad nauseum in this thread.

I admire your commitment to trying wit.. but i got to tell you something.. you're a beetroot man.
Sunblest & now disparaging the beetroot!

I don't even know who you are man. :(

The record shows.. Argentina World Cup Champions 1986.. the hand of God is football folklore.

If you think i rigged the results.. I've already taken home the cup.. and you can beat your head silly against the brick wall over the hand of God for the rest of your life. I got you in more ways than one.

For the record.. the ladder was a fair reflection of the food that was on show.. everyone did a great job.. and I'm looking forward to seeing what everyone comes up with in 2021.

I will be the judge of ladder positions again.. so can't wait. It's going to be hard to back it up again with another trophy but we'll see how we go. Fingers crossed I'll do ok.

Do you like it in hamburgers? Don't ever get offered it anymore in burgers, but I never liked it because the colour leaked into the bun and the moisture turned it soggy.
What? Are you Oztrayin? Beetroot has to be in a Fish & Chip shop hamburger.

If it leaked then your chippy didn't drain it.

I also grate fresh beets into a salad, couldn't give a fat rats clacker if colour changes the salad, tastes great.

Apart from that, growing up roast beetroot was an integral part of roast lamb dinner.

Delicious!!!!

I like fresh stuff in everything. The tinned stuff that you used to get in hamburgers - I don't like that in anything.

I'm afraid I can't deal with beetroot, but for non-culinary reasons.

My parents were, I realised from seeing other people's parents, a little nuts. They would have full on yelling screaming fights, kind of often, right in front of me and my brothers as if that was normal as ****. And it was not uncommon to have small objects flying.

One day I was heading towards the kitchen to get a blameless glass of coke or something when a whole shitload of tinned beetroot flew past my nose missing by millimetres and splattered into the nicely eggshell white wall beside me where the slices proceeded to slowly slide down like a Pro Hart masterpiece in the making.

They asked me about school and stuff as if nothing was wrong, and all I could do was stare at the beetroot. Can't touch the stuff ever since :p

The tin stuff is all I can ever remember in a hamburger. I frequently buy hamburgers, and beetroot never features in the lettuce and tomato gratis fare.

Parents can impact your life in weird ways. Glad you survived the growing up experience. Maybe if they had used fresh rather than tinned beetroot, your adult reaction to the stuff might be different.
