I think you'll find the Thais just call it food. If it's not spicy to their tastes, they say it has 'no taste' - my mee rot chart. You hear them say that you know the food's shit, for them anyway.

I have an Indonesian friend who says the same thing if the food is not up to scratch.

Win the next two and we're in the big stuff big time. Lose the next two and it's looking bleak. If we don't win it this year next year could be tough with a number of players at the end of their career and not improving their output. Also we haven't blooded a lot of youngsters this year - to summarise - it's now or not for a while..

For good coffee/meals/beer walk to Hardware lane or hitch a ride on an Uber down to Brunswick St, Fitzroy.

Richmond no longer the place it was for mens clothing, and I don't really know the CBD shopping scene all that well.

If you like Malaysian food, there's a great restaurant in Hardware Lane called Lulu's Char Koay Teow.
Get there early though, because it's very popular with Asians - always a good sign.

Just back from the sunny Gold Coast seeing my new little grandson Luca Mrs35 and I back and forward quite a bit lately to see out gorgeous grandkids. Makes life very special. Hoping to fit a Melbourne trip in before the seasons over but running out of time with other commitments. I miss the grand old dam.
Reread Fried Green Tomatos again, awesome book, Billy Connolly Windswpt and Interesting, such sadness but passed over in typical Billy style, and Tell Me Why with Archie Roach. Nice trio of a read.
Weve had a gorgeous winter here on the sapphire coast with most days being around 19 or 20 and sun filled. Comes at a cost of course and drier here in mid winter than I can recall. Needing rain badly.
Looking forward to the Pies tonight!!
