I did notice that. I have noticed that he starts of the show with all guns loaded having pot shots at Caro and what ever other issue are on the agenda but after he has NOTHING to add to the show

Brendan Gale has the intellect and obvious oratory skill to deal with hacks like Hutchy. i thought he was very polished, not to mention adept at deflecting questions he didn't want to answer. His reference to the 'master narrative' was inspired, straight from the corporate playbook. I got the impression he didn't rate any of them. And, let's be truthful, why would he?
How funny was it was Caro said that some journalists apologised for their error with the reporting the Wallace issue...then she paused for a few moments and said "and some obviously chose not to".
Wonder how long Hutchy took to come up with the term "overwhelming probability"...surely that means what 99%???
Is it just me but does hutchya smug face really P**S you off? i'm not a fan or Caro but everytime i see hutchy i get so upset and the crap that spills out of his mouth,

I can't see what the problem is with Hutchy reporting football stories. Players and coaches need to be held accountable for their performances and actions and all Hutchy is doing is exposing the details of them.
He treads a fine line between reporting facts and 'rubbish' and I am sure he is aware of the subsequent repercussions and legal implications should he report lies.
To date I have not heard anything to suggest he has deviated from the facts on the Richmond story and if the players don't like him reporting facts them stiff sh*t. If the Richmond players did their job as well as Hutchy then perhaps they would not be the laughing stock that they are...

But he didn't report the facts. He published that Terry Wallace had been sacked. He was wrong.
No matter how he tries to retro-fit the facts or rationalise it, he got it wrong in his zeal to break the story. For my money, a journalist with integrity would have admitted that rather than resort to weasel words.

I've been watchin' SBS on Monday nights so I haven't caught too much FC'09.
Last year I thought that Caro was tolerable. She was a shill, a mouthpiece for Ddrian Dunderson and Vlad DemetriDOH - but tolerable, okay. Her usual beat is the business side of the clubs and the AFL; and any "controversy" that raises its barbaric bonce/human head.
Crotchy, on the other hand, is an overbearing, overblown, overtalker. A mannerless, microphone thrusting, gutter crawling gasbag, even if he was right about TV Tan Terry and the Tempestuous-Teapot Tiggers.
In some circles, overtalking and a lack of manners passes for intelligence. It may take 3 generations, but I'd expect Natural Selection to come to bear.

Does Daniel Kerr need a visa or something to come and play in Victoria for a Victorian based side? Has he been rejected? I am still waiting on hutchy's 'fact' of Daniel Kerr to come and play for a vic based side. He said that was 'fact' last year so many times in the one breath, so it must of been true. Is Daniel Kerr walking here from perth? whats taking him so long?
IMO, hutchy is losing credibility day by day, the more garbage he talks, the more hair and credibility he loses... This Terry Wallace story is a complete balls up, and is an easy target for him, so he went with it. I have gone as far as going and getting my self a drink or changing the channel for 5 minutes now while hutchy is on, I only watched it this week on the footy show as richo was on it, and he seemed pretty fired up. Would be good if richo really did wack him in the head, knock some sence into him...

Sorry, I found your initial reply confusing because of the apparent contradiction. Never the less, we forge ahead... So, is this your basic contention: Wilson brings more shite to the table than Hutchy. But Hutchy's shite is of higher quality?
Personally, they both s*** me for different reasons, but if you had to make me choose who irritated me less I would say Wilson.
As for Hutchy working higher up in the gutter, can't agree with that. His 'reporting' of the Terry Wallace sacking was the apotheosis of gutter journalism. Even better than the previous benchmark he set in broadcasting baseless alegations about Justin Kositschke.
Personally, when Wilson opens her mouth on Footy Classified there's more likelyhood of something intelligent spilling from her mouth than Huthcy's.

Close ...but here is the crux.........Wilsons shite is not really hers, she has taken a little bit of shite here and a little bit of shite there and moulded it to her liking and makes it look like unreal shite! Whereas Hutchison (in most cases) takes shite that really is shite ..............and presents it as shite!
Unfortuntely for me, when Wilson does open here mouth most things just spill out.
