Yep, looks like when you hire Craig you get a bit of Lethal, Dimma and Clarko on the side. Sounds good.
The word rebuild was not used a single time, the club and McRae seem bullish that they can turn this around pretty quickly. Unless they can recruit a couple of decent key forwards and a quality inside midfielder its just not going to happen.
Daicos is coming in and we're rumoured to be pursuing Wideman
It would have been so much more comforting that in a press conference all about him, he just focused on his shortcomings.I was a little concerned about how much praise he was heaping on himself, about how he was very good at thsi and very good at that....not once but on multiple occasions.
We may have a real FIGJAM on our hands.
Pretty much his whole career!!Haha Wideman, like Shaun Tait early in his career…
He did say he and and Wrighty are looking towards the draft to obtain their needs. The word rebuild was not used a single time, the club and McRae seem bullish that they can turn this around pretty quickly. Oh good, Tom Browne's piping up.
Wright on Sanderson will likely be retained as an assistant, but they're discussing other roles.
For me that's a bonus, vindictive old trd cost us a flag.I agree. Bit of an omission to not name Malthouse as someone McRae worked with though!
I can live with that, sick of mmI agree. Bit of an omission to not name Malthouse as someone McRae worked with though!
In fact he was clearer than that and said that he wouldn't be an assistant coach.Did he say that he would be retained as an assistant coach? I didnt get that impression. Only that Wright and Sand were discussing options.
Straight up front - no bullsht or faffing about"The players can go away now and make a choice"...........sounds like he's explained to the players how he'll go about it and told them to get on board............or not.
Nice of the media department to leave the first 7 mins of 'hold music' on the YouTube clip. Cheers!
But for those that missed it live:-
Big warning bells there for Sier - get your act together son or you're out the door.Like what he said, seems like he won't tolerate poor application. Seems like he won't put up with lack of effort. Wants to be strong in the contest.
