The saying goes you learn the most about a person when times are tough. I think we have seen the real McRae come out the last 48 hours.

Got deserved plaudits 22/23 for what he achieved but the nice guy schtick always seemed a bit fake. Easy to do when times are good and you are winning but now times are tough the petulance comes out.

Happy to play 15+ games a year at the MCG, happy to win the close ones off contentious umpiring at home but as soon as the shoe goes on the other foot and season is gone the persona is broken.

Nice to finally meet the real you.
Dude claiming that "50" would be paid at the MCG in front of home supporters isn't making the point he thinks he's making. Sydney have lost actual GFs thanks to shitty umpiring, while the Pies have won GFs based on MCG advantage, and he's out here making a spectacle of himself, bitching about 1 contentious call in a game when you're not even making the 8 anyway.

What a ****ing douchebag.

So funny to this space cadet put in his spot by Longmire. All of this talk about 'we're winners' only to complain about the umpires. lol

Whinge on John: (but the facts of the matter state)

Collingwood left VP in 1999 but even prior to that, their games against the Sydney Swans were lopsided in favour of the NSW team.

The Swans last played at VP in 1995, then followed 3 seasons of Sydney home games against the Pies at the SCG, they then played at the MCG in 1998 before another 3 seasons of single home games for the Swans against the Pies in Sydney. You'll note that during this time there were no "return fixtures" where the Swans flew south to take on the Pies. This set the precedent for the majority of the next twenty years....except when
The Magpies then had 3 seasons of “home fixtures” against Sydney though 2 of those were held at Telstra Dome

but from 2003:

Sydney has had 23 home fixtures against Collingwood whilst the Pies have had 11 (5 of which were at Telstra and one at the Gabba)

So all in all, since the MCG became Collingwood’s home ground they’ve played the Swans there a total of 7 times (one of which was a final, 2007) whilst the Swans have hosted the Pies 23 times (2 of which have been finals)

And since Horse took over in 2011 its even more LOPSIDED towards Sydney....

Since 2011 its 14 in Sydney and one neutral at the Gabba v 3 at the MCG (that's right 3 only in Melbourne)

Yep, hasn’t taken long for the Collingwood entitlement to ruin Fly as a coach and as a person

Now do Geelong

No defence of McCrae given the handouts to the Pies, but the fair weather Swans supporters (90%) think that every contest is a free for the Swans. They have no idea how unbearable it is to visit the SCG for visitors.
Take me home country road FFS…

Yeah ok
You playing there probably gives em one of the biggest crowds of the year.

AFL should fine him 50 thou for bringing the game into disrepute inferring the umpires are biased.

It doesn’t even matter if he’s right.
