With Shane Crawfords career coming to an end he may think of chasing September action elsewhere, like Essendon perhaps with the bombers perhaps lacking a player like Crawford to bolster there midfield. What would Hawthorn supporters consider a fair trade.

Perhaps Bullen,Henneman+1st round pick to Hawthorn for Crawford. Not a bad deal considering he will probably play only 2 more years.

Essendon have always traded fairly theyve just traded well! Astutely! Sensibly. You cant blame us for poor decisions Hawthorn have made in the past. Cmon Crawford to Essendon would be a win win situation. Hed get to play for a successful team, wed bolster our midfield and you guys would get an established player and draft picks to help with your rebuilding.

Im not saying he wants to leave but surely it could work in both hawthorn and essendons favor if it did happen. You're an absolute dead beat. Im sure every hawks supporter will agree that Croad was fantastic this year. We dont need him any where else, he can stay at CHB. Hes done some good jobs this year, one on Reiwoldt which i was particulary impressed with. Gives us some extra dash from the backline aswell. Was a hack but now is far from it.
