Massively overrating their team is their default position.

Seriously, they've beaten us once, maybe twivce, since 2002 but according to them, every single one of those North teams has been iunferior to theirs and their boys have a "bad day" against us.

I think it generally stems from the fact that most Essendon supporters here took up following football post 1993.

The fact that they have been a mediocre club since 2004 leads to any future sign of perceived future success as a case of premature ejaculation on their part. Without question, they have a bottom 3 midfield. They are merely middle of the road cannon fodder.

They tend to give off an impression that they are a big & relevant club but that has passed. I think they generally direct more angst towards Richmond & North Melbourne supporters here b/c both clubs have owned them in the last 10 meetings.

I like the 26 pages on the Essendon board that discuss the Roos V Ess game as a nothing game - sure we are not Carlton or Collingwood but 26 pages!! It looks like someone is a little obsessed at trying to play our game down. The harder they try the more pathetic they look.......

Zaharakis would comfortably make our side. ****, he'd moonwalk his way in. That's not to say he's elite or anything, it's more to do because he's just a good enough player (actually he is one youngster who looks certain to be very good).

He is very similar to Leigh Adams in the role he plays and the output when playing that role. I'd happily have another Adams on the team.

No the dome was closed - Lay down Hocking - layed down, Hooker's hamstring went ping again, Watson missed 90% of targets by foot, Heppell had zero hard ball gets and Stanton fell over when the game was in the balance. But honestly guys, give it a rest, this offseasons been ridiculous.

Yeah, I don't have to read it blah blah, but it's pretty hard to avoid every friggin thread on this site atm.

The Essendon fans are just as much to blame, but ****, it's a sad state of affairs when you need cry like a little girl and post by the minute accross 4 days in a thread, over the smallest of differences of opinions thats bound to get shut down anyway.......
