The Poms and Indians have one thing in common - they're both massive hypocrites. They're more than happy to accuse the Aussies of wrong doing, but they're quick to downplay their own misdemeanors.

For a while I thought the crowd would be locked in for 2 hours for the fireworks and concert. Lucky Doggett and Boyce dug in like Alabama ticks. 😁

Also Sweet Caroline? You should be ashamed.

To an extent, but I dont think the Indians are anywhere near as sanctimonious. At least we dont have to hear that Pat broke the "spirit of cricket" by not overruling the 3rd umpire and letting Jaiswal play on.

Good to see Rodney Hogg calling it as it is and calling for Mitchell Marsh to be dropped.

Andrew Mc Donald's response was rather odd. When asked about Marsh's lack of bowling in the series McDonald said that Australia had not had to call upon Marsh yet. Being the generous person that I am I will give McDonald the benefit of the doubt and say that his answer to Hogg's call was cricket diplomacy. He probably did not want to make a call on a subject that it probably is not his call to make.

You have to wonder though, if Marsh is not going to be called upon when one of your strike bowlers is injured early in a Test when is he going to be called upon? Josh Hazlewood was injured during the first Indian Innings in Brisbane yet Marsh only bowled two overs in the Indian innings. In Melbourne Marsh only bowled ten overs. What is the point in retaining a supposed all rounder who doesn't bowl?

And Mitch Marsh has been dropped. So the awkwardness in McDonald's response likely also factors in "well we've dropped him" but we're not publicly announcing the side yet.

So Australia has a new debutant in Beau Webster.

And 19 year old Sam Konstas is still the only player aged under 30.

Good luck Beau, hope he has a strong match. Always good to see what a new (if not young) face can bring.

Beau Webster is set to make his Test debut for Australia in the series finale against India.

Webster will take the place of Mitchell Marsh, who has been dropped after struggling with form all summer.
