Good news for the Australian Cricket Team, and our chances of winning back the BGT.Marsh dropped
Thank goodness!Marsh dropped
He’s Australia’s Murphy, at least the cricket selectors woke upThank goodness!
Everyone knew it Tests ago... but the selectors.
Marsh can stick to the shorter form of the game where he is more suited.

Yeah, I posted the same earlier in this thread. He’s Australia’s Murphy, at least the cricket selectors woke up
You know I’m slow, but great mines……………Yeah, I posted the same earlier in this thread.
Hopefully the Crows selectors finally wake up too!You know I’m slow, but great mines……………
Gee I can’t possibly see him making it with our insHopefully the Crows selectors finally wake up too!
Absolutely, they are blaming technology for failing when the basic technology (video) showed the clear deflection. You lost me in that first sentence. Snicko has never been the word of god. It's just a tool in a basket of tools. You rely on the third umpire's intuition to use the correct tools. Of course something which is clearly visible to the naked eye should override something that is audio based.
The hilarious irony of Indian cricket complaining about this decision is that it actually came down to human interpretation of the rules, which is what they've been clamouring for. They get mad if you use the technology, they get mad if you don't use the technology. Maybe they just like getting mad.
Have you got a direct line to his partner?Marsh was coming good as well
They need to be braver though as they should have made the Marsh call for the Adelaide Test as soon as he couldn't bowl... & meanwhile we have had fast bowlers breakdown as we have had a lack of a 5th bowling option.Australian selectors being a lot braver this series than I thought.
I didn't think we'd debut Konstas in a tough series
I didn't think we'd drop Marsh with the series on the line
Even selecting McSweeney initially over "safer" options like Harris or Bancroft who'd played at the level.
Good to see
We need to find out & can't be any worse than Marsh.Interesting if he does well.
hopefully he does
Just out of interest - how could you tell the difference? He can't bowl even when he is fit. They need to be braver though as they should have made the Marsh call for the Adelaide Test as soon as he couldn't bowl... & meanwhile we have had fast bowlers breakdown as we have had a lack of a 5th bowling option.
Have you got a direct line to his partner?
Took 3 wickets in the 1st Test... & nothing since he has been injured.Just out of interest - how could you tell the difference? He can't bowl even when he is fit.
They don't bowl him much even when he is fit. Woeful as his batting is, his bowling is even worse.Took 3 wickets in the 1st Test... & nothing since he has been injured.
I mentioned at the time we should have dropped him for the Adelaide Test.
It's impacted on our quicks breaking down carrying more of a load.
My point was he could bowl in the 1st Test! They don't bowl him much even when he is fit. Woeful as his batting is, his bowling is even worse.
Taking 3 wickets in the first test should not be seen as indicative of his bowling's impact. That was an abnormally good return for him.
Your point is correct that he could bowl in the first test.My point was he could bowl in the 1st Test!
Since then he has been injured & limited... which is why I said he should have been replaced by Webster in Adelaide.
This poor decision has impacted on the workloads of the quicks.
Was very short-sighted imo.
