Only 200?

But but esports fap fap

Your comment surprises me, with your IT background I would have thought you would be more understanding,
This is from my son and grandkids as I am not qualified, The 200 views is from only 1 site and was never the full picture, there far more than a couple site's that offer live viewing of the game, both legacy and the team they play have a couple of sites they open up for views, Utube, Twitter, Facebook. then there is Twitch and the various organisation that show the game.
As I mention one of the Twitch channel had over 1mill total views for the counter strike team, Legacy vs Tainted Minds,
then you have their Overwatch and the League of Legends teams running there views thru various media outlets or whatever you call them.

Actually as someone else who works in IT professionally I've been against it as well.

Why, When all the data supports investment into E-Sports, around the world no matter what level of the investment,
Remeber its an investment and will take some time to mature, but it's hitting the right generation for future growth.

I have to say am not the correct person to discuss this as I have some investment in E-Sport overseas and So I am biased, (Blame my Kids for that as it's their investment) I also do not have the knowledge of the sport and relly again on my Kids and Grandkids to keep apprised.

Believe its Investment not shares, but I ask my son as he running that one not me. My money though. He occasionally mentions something about a deal with a mate overseas.
I living on my investment happily in retirement.
He got you to buy him (as an investment) a PS4 under the guise of needing it to be a pro gamer......

Because all the data doesn't support it

What are your reasons?

I am still trying to figure out if I am pro or against this acquisition.

The market just isn't there in Australia and we don't have the ability to develop a big enough market to make it worth it.

If we'd bought a European or US team I'd be much more interested

So when you mention what you did when having a dig at John Who for not mention what he did you were incorrect.

Still waiting for that apology

Because all the data doesn't support it

The mere concept of “all the data” is of itself quite alarming, as if there could ever be such a thing

And if there were the gold rush stampede would make bitcoin look like soil erosion

We purchased the players, they're ours. We pay them a salary. Or don't we?

No Idea what and if we pay them,
But there was an article or radio report that mentions they keep there Prizemoney.
Maybe we ask feenix67, to get N Smart on his Podcast and ask him. will be the best way to answer your question.
