I bet all you Crows supporters are really, really happy tonight! You guys now have a new shed, the old one is going to now become a carpark and you guys are going to have a bigger shed.

After the millions that the Crows have made over the years you would at least think they would have built you guys a club room by now, then again the Crows are not really a club, they are only a team.

A new shed, what a laugh!

All you Port Adelaide morons seem to forget a simple business plan, if it cost more than you will make the likelihood it will BANKRUP you.

The Adelaide Crows have approximately 45,000 season ticket holders given that a clubroom that will allow 4500 people (only 10%) to sit down and have a meal would cost $6 Million dollars to build, but the shed facilities have only cost $1.1 Million dollars that will do the same thing and can hold nearly 6000 people. The extra $4.9 Million dollars will go back into grass roots football so all of South Australia can experience football.

I would rather have the shed that will allow more supporters to mingle and have a beer before and after a game than a place that is small and exclusive to only a gold member, that will allow someone like you (black demons and other Port Power supporters) to then say they are excluding the everyday supporter, because a smaller clubrooms will make it exclusive and that was another reason the AFC didn’t decided to build it.

Another reason the reason the AFC board didn’t build a clubrooms like the Port Adelaide Power Football club did is because they could not justify the expense to build one and decided to think about others who may not support our club, like the cretins at the Port Magpies.

have a little sook why dont you! Get your dummy out...port have a liscence fee to pay off believe it or not...and we also had to pay it off a llot quicker than the crows did, meaning more money in each payment, which means the money we made got wittled away because of the liscence fee. If you get your blinkers off for 5 minutes youd realise this
No to mention the money that you had to pay out in fines for tampering with the draft. Just like their supporters, the club can't play by the rules. Ah Port Adelaide, founded by criminals, built up by criminals for the criminals. Leopards don't change their spots, even when they wear suits;)

If need be.

I mean, bricks and mortar doesnt make a club. Its just a building. We play at our AAMI stadium, we go to the shed, a social club building is not a huge priority or problem.

It seems to bother Port people more than us.

The other topic they mentioned was getting close to the players after a game.
WTF why? They have just played their guts out and dont want or need supoprters up their clacker wanting autographs and just being annoying.
Those days are over. If you want to get up close and personal go to a club social bbq or something.
Paying your membership money doesnt give you the right to hound them whenever you want.

"Blackdiamond" and I , with others, DID run the scoreboard at the trial game on Saturday.

I don't go to post match functions anyway. Prefer to see the players train than put up with all the push and shove at the post match. It's so much easier to get photos, autographs etc at training... :D

Good onya. I wasnt critisising you or anyone else. Just stating that a social club room building isnt what its about, its the social club that is.

Blackdiamond seems to be more concerned with our club than his/hers.

Give him a break-he had to put up with me for hours on end on Saturday! The hardest job in the book imo. :D

The Crows put on enough functions for this purpose, including making players available after the games. So they have a building and we have a shed, meh.......Care factor = 0.

I thought that your club was the "working class" club? Surely someone from such a club shouldnt be putting down a working class enviroment where people from the Crows meet... but I suppose that you can enjoy your multi-million dollar port club from a poor eco-social stand point, yet still feel inferior.

I was just wondering if any of you kind folk could tell me if the Shed was going to be open this Sunday. My cousin is coming down from the farm and was hoping to find a place to park his tractor.

Ho ho ho... and this is funny how? Just tell them, assuming they are a swampy as well, to steal a normal car.

The Crows arent interested in their supporters or the state. Would the team for all South Australians drop a long time local sponsor of football and the crows such as west end for a victiorian company like carlton?
As for the shed i think its an appropriate venue. If crows supporters actually made some noise and got involved during the game rather than listen to radio so that KG can tell them whats going on then maybe a social club of SANFL standard would be warranted.

Ahh West End dropped Adelaide because they felt they were not able to get enough exposure because of the CUB AFL deal. I wouldnt be surprised that when your deal with West End runs out next year they will cut you aswell

Now run along like a good little boy.

Got a quote from west end to back that up?? Or is that the crow party line on the issue?

Just wondering (not ******** stirring) ... as I'd never really thought about it before, but do the Crows have clubroom facilities in the AAMI complex.

I.e - at Alberton during the week you can go in there look around, look at the premiership cup, see honour boards, have a beer or a meal etc ?

similarly at other SANFL clubs such as Centrals etc.
