Looks like a good chance to get in some Crows bingo. See if we can tick off:

"Full support of the board."
"We're not here to discuss that."
"Continuity."
No excuses then makes excuses
Pykey looks baffled that someone would think to ask about CM
"Back ourselves in"
"Made the Grand Final"
"Not at liberty to discuss that."
"Not my area"
"We will respond"
"Push for finals"
Shoots down question about amount of hamstrings
Gets offended at question about injury reporting/frequency
"Learnings"
"Confident" player will stay here

Did I miss anything?

Good list - We will learn from this

This would make sense, to criticise the football club to this extent, if the other football clubs were doing these things exceptionally better than us and it was proving the difference. But they're not, and it isn't.

Look at the bulldogs. How do those wheels fall off if they were a well-oiled machine? That president. That coach. That game plan.

Now we've got Richmond, who apparently are revolutionising the game by having no key forwards. A revolution.

In South Australia, that's a shit forward line.

Why is Otten a Cinderella story in a powerful forward line when they're playing in Adelaide, but a basket case fringe player at the MCG costing them a flag?

Da "BIG STAGE"

Open your eyes.

Why just Otten? What about Jenkins etc etc

I don’t give a shit as to what Burton has to say.
I’m more interested in his demeanor than his words

If he’s dismissive and gets “offended” be can bugger off regardless of what he’s said

He’s ****ed up. The whole football department has ****ed up. He can show some contrition and accept what ever questions are thrown at him regardless how uncomfortable or unfair those questions are.

That will be interesting. The approach they take will tell us whether they’ve learnt anything at all.

The injury issues will be excused as "bad luck" and everything will flow on from there.

"Bad luck" with injuries has caused the losses. "Lack of continuity".

"A lot of players found the camp to be a positive experience"

"It was the bad luck with injuries that caused poor performances, not Collective Mind"

"We've reviewed the appropriate programs and moved on"

I’m actually super interested.

I think it’s going to be a really good indicator as to just how embedded the collective minds cult mentality is throughout our organisation.

Could also start a drinking game based on the amount of woo, misdirection and buck passing this bloke will bring to the table.

Don't forget the bad luck with our results, could easily be 8-5, etc.

Mistakes have been made, but I've always been told it's how you rectify them.

So far we've just been told we haven't made any, or the ones we made have been fixed despite mounting contrary evidence.

I'll never jump off, but it's hard to place any faith in any message

Do what I’ve done. Live your life.

I’m still a Crows fan. It’s like a disease I was born with and I can’t find a cure.

Previously, I used to move heaven and earth to watch the games. I’d attend religiously every week and spend thousands of dollars each year on a membership, merch and booze when I was at the ground.

Even when I moved interstate I kept renewing my membership, shuffling my schedule, actively swapping out work commitments and skipping out on personal events just so I could watch Crows games.

The more I committed the more the club took a shit on me so I checked out. I stopped spending that money, I stopped worrying about swapping out events and I lived my life.

If I’m free for a game I watch it, if I’m not free - no biggy. My life is my priority, I’ll treat the club the way they treat me - at a distance with very little care.

Its something, maybe its a start. Any chance they could roll out a contract signing? Where are Fages & Chapman? Hooefully it doesn't leave us with more questions then answers but I fear the worst. Pyke should be there because he is the one who talked about using the mind to get the "edge".

Amazing the reaction a Kane Cornes tweet can receive.

I’m sure Brisbane Carlton Gold Coast saints fans want answers.

Don’t see those teams calling pointless press conferences to shut up Kane.

Is it an announcement that we are taking a leaf out of the Richmond book?
At the end of 2016 they sacked and refreshed their football department, only keeping Rutten.
They brought in Balme as the HOF, Carracella as a senior assistant/strategist, Leppitch as an assistant. 2017 they won a premiership.

There is no way we will do anything as proactive, today will be all about Crows cliches, backslapping, steady as she goes.
Stagnant Boys Club.

They completely redesigned the pre season.

They flogged the players and stepped up the mind training. Sure, they re-designed it, Birdman style.

They brought in new machines to push the boundaries with soft tissue..

A response, no doubt, to the hamstring plague in the first half of 2017.

They came up with a camp no one had ever remotely tried before to try to find a mental edge for their players..

That’s a point in favour of my argument, not yours.

They brought in Bryce Gibbs..

After losing Lever and Cameron. Net effect? Arguably a minus.

Bringing in Gibbs was the bare minimum pass mark.

They've changed about twelve different set-ups with how we transition the ball from d50, no doubt in reaction to the breakdowns in the Grand Final.

Now here you’ve got a point. But for what? So we could beat them again at AO?

Our problem wasn’t (and still isn’t) that we couldn’t beat Richmond, our problem is that we are rubbish on the MCG, where the grand final is played.

TAnd they've pushed it too far because they have to go the MCG and somehow make up 12 goals as the higher ranked team, because this competition is broken.!

What is this?

Richmond haven’t won anything for nearly 40 ****ing years. The competition is suddenly broken now because for the first time in nearly four decades they’ve put together a side that’s hard to beat at home?

We've never had a period of being genuinely bad, so we haven't snagged elite talent at the draft since those initial start up concessions. The Judds, Rougheads and Franklins of the world haven't been there for us.

Tippett, Davis, Gunston, Vince, Dangerfield, Lever and Cameron reads like a who’s who of a premiership team.

Our problem hasn’t been getting talent, it’s been retaining it. And that’s on the club.

We have spent the last 18 years having a mental breakdown every time it counts.

2005. 2006. All those home finals lost. 2012. 2016 where we were set for top 4 then inexplicably failed to show up in round 23.

The 2017 grand final was just another example of an entrenched mental weakness in this club which has spanned multiple coaches and captains.

We lost the contested possessions by 30. In the 2nd half as a team we just quit. We gave up. Sloane invisible, Walker invisible, when it counted.

Mental breakdown, and perfectly in character with the prior 18 years.

Clearly the treatment was wrong. But Pyke was correct to make that diagnosis.

If what you say is true, and it has afflicted playing groups across multiple eras who have nothing to do with each other (no players left from 05/06, almost 2/3 of the 2012 team gone), what does that tell you about where the source of the issue might be??
