The Gunston trade stays alive a bit longer too, with Kerridge contributing to this trade. At this stage effectively looking like Gunston + pick 28 for Menzel, Jenkins and Grigg (plus late pick swaps).
Was he taken in the draft in which we were sanctioned?
As awkward as this?
It's on the club's Instagram
Crazy Sossy is cray cray. I ain't even mad.
Forward line TICK! AA qualityIf we didn't already have the best forward 5 in the league, we'd be hard pressed to not have the best 6 now.
Anyone read Jake Lever when they read those bios? Considered one of the absolute best in the draft, but slides because of injury.
Was all excited until I saw this. Still would prefer danger and gunston. But wow, menzel, you beauty!Jack Gunston + Dangerfield + Pick 53 = Troy Menzel + Jenkins + Grigg + CEY + Pick 9 + Gore (+ Joyce)
Provided its not career threatening, nothing wrong with recruiting players who have suffered serious injury. Adversity breeds success so says my psychiatrist.Anyone read Jake Lever when they read those bios? Considered one of the absolute best in the draft, but slides because of injury.
The thing about Kedge is he will work hard no matter what else is going on on or off the field.Enjoy guys.
As I've said in a couple of threads now, it was in the clubs and Menz's best interest to facilitate a trade. We're entering a rebuild and Menz seemed to stagnate this year in a poor team. Plays a position that needs some more quality players around him.
Despite what a lot of posters seemed to to think, he always gave his all in spite of injury, poor delivery and no structure around him. His ceiling is still massive.
Thanks for Kerridge too! Reckon he'll be a lock in our 22 and is exactly the type of player we need at the moment.
Jet lagged from Bali perhaps? He looks like he just woke up
Enjoy guys.

Yes. Although he's in the same draft year as Brad Crouch who we were able to secure a year earlier, we didn't enter the 2012 draft until pick #62 (Sam Siggins). We also picked up Atkins (#81) & Hartigan (rookie) in that draft.
Just looking at the age profile of our list including the ins & outs of this trade period, we seem to have done a pretty good job of filling the talent gap created by the Tippett sanctions.
DOB 1992: Smith, Lyons, Seedsman, Brown

I'd love to see Boogie on a wing. His more natural position I think. Let him run up and down it ALL day!Where does that leave Riley Knight, on a wing?
Email your team selection panel immediately. Tell them no matter what, Kedge simply has to play against the Roos! Geez he loves ripping them a new one.Enjoy guys.
