What people?People go on about Hazlewood being the next McGrath -
20 tests, 103 wickets, average of 20, SR 43.9, ER 2.75What are Pat Cummins numbers in the 24 months since this thread was created ?
Mate you go off topic in every single thread, reminiscing over great players that you watched in the '60s and '70s lmao. Telling others to stay on topic is a bit richWhat people?
Clowns ?
Stick to the amusing OP stuff. More fun to stay on topic.
ha ha. you got me confused with someone else. Drinking already ?Mate you go off topic in every single thread, reminiscing over great players that you watched in the '60s and '70s lmao.
Sounds like it was Adelaide Hawk.ha ha. you got me confused with someone else. Drinking already ?
Not old enough to have seen any of 1960's...lol and first summer I watched any Test cricket was 1979 .. so I've virtually missed Test cricket of those decades. Try again...lol
BTW, Cummins is super. OP clueless....lol
Worst strike rate and average of all our bowlers so far this series. Has struggled to lead the attack this Test. At least he's been economical.
I mean, I rate him, but he doesn't get nearly as much stick as someone like Starc - which seems odd given their respective returns.
People go on about Hazlewood being the next McGrath - i reckon it's Cummins
So consistent on a length on or about off stump.
No longer swings or jags it massively - just does enough to kiss the edge.
He may not get as many glory balls (such as a starc inswinger) - but he's damn effective.
To be fair to OP, he did put a question mark in the thread title.

Me and a mate had a similar discussion yesterday - he’s got the accuracy and bounce of McGrath; with another 10-15km of Pace.
Along with Nathan Lyon one which is bumped all the time
I think Lyon will have him well covered there. He had to take 200 wickets before some were even convinced of his worthiness to be selected.Pat Cummins will probably be the most "overrated" bowler to reach 400 test wickets. Just a burden on our team really
For a glorified groundsman he's done all right for himselfI think Lyon will have him well covered there. He had to take 200 wickets before some were even convinced of his worthiness to be selected.
Gough you're probably the best person to ask here. Is this the most ill informed thread ever seen on these boards? Lol
Nope.Bet you feel like a real tool right now hey
