THE AFL's draft camp and trade week would go ahead as scheduled next Monday, subject to the AFL clubs agreeing. It will mean players who contest the Grand Final could be up for trade as little as 40 hours later.

I'll find out whether he has though.

How many does it look like we'll be delisting? Lonergan, Laycock and Atkinson must go. Still on a 1-year deal, Houli hopefully re-signs and maybe give H.Slatts a one year deal (since he's our best small defender . Mcveigh will go further backwards imo)

IIRC he was 'rated' (at least retrospectively by Ess insiders) as a likely 2009 first rounder when taken as an underager in 2008.

Two 2nd year KPP gone.... both showed a lot of promise IMO.

A few older guys with no real room for improvement in them must be ecstatic.

Extremely amazed that Still got delisted. Effectively a first year player.

Tyson looked to have a bit of courage and played with passion, but you need more than that to compete at the highest level. Wasn't overly quick, didn't have above average skills; not losing much by chopping him off the list.

Still on the other hand, I felt another year may have been more beneficial. Looked to have the frame, smarts & skill to work with, just needs to build on that frame and build his confidence up with a couple of good games in the seniors and/or string half a dozen super games together in the VFL/SANFL/etc. Would be surprised if he doesn't get rookie listed come the rookie draft, the club that picks him up will have something to work with for sure.
