Strategy Curtin's role in 2025?

I really hope we can find a couple of CBA per game for Dan, I think he needs some game time in there.
Ideally it would be good to see him get 3-4 in the second half of each game.
Every time he gets the ball, he looks classy.
He always has time and makes good decisions

Below is what you said two weeks ago. At the time I interpreted that as you having an issue with moving him around.

Were you actually saying he wasnt being moved around enough?

Curtin, from back pocket to sub to forward pocket now
I don't think this is the best way to develop him

Yes, that's right. I didn't like him being moved everywhere.

I would never have played him down back or the non existent minutes in the sub role or the forward pocket.
I think his best role is the HFF and time in the midfield.
Where did I say he wasn't being moved around enough ?

Draper has looked perfectly at home in midfield when he has come on.

Curtin also looked ok when playing off a wing.
It's rare for a young guy to play midfield from the start and get through unscathed, maybe he does and will be a star but i would have liked us to start with a less demanding position and work him into it even if just for half a season considering his injury history as well a limited preseason and he's our only A grade midfield talent.

As for Curtin there's been no plan there, would have benefited from playing a hbf last year.

Nicks is trying to keep his job and justin Reid keeps these older guys on the list so nicks is sort of obligated to play them, so makes it difficult.

It's just interesting you're now suggesting another role to move him into, but you don't like him being moved everywhere.

Yet Draper has looked perfectly comfortable in the midfield & appears to be his most natural role. Why would we move him elsewhere?

Curtin does appear to have clear role this year. Wing when we are tall up forward, otherwise some stints up forward.

I'm comfortable with how both are being utilised.

I don't see the point in him playing in playing in the wrong roles as mentioned.
Play him where he is best suited and has a future.
Dawson said he thinks he will play a similar role to himself, so lets get him doing that
