A mockery of the arcade game!

This is what the arcade version looked like from the outside and much better graphics on the screen.

It also shook and said trippy things man.

This looks like a MKI version, not the free-wheeling discy free-ness of your enclosed version as above.

Desert boots, the youth wont know what you're on about. Checkers!

I bought a version of db's a few years ago. The one's that are stitched up the middle and look like a Cornish pastie.

Just bit, further, off topic.

Does anyone remember the decerning drinking man's footwear....the ciaks?

Drinking pups of the highest order and very absorbent. Real benders could be wound up outside the venue wringing the night slops out into ever waiting mouths of the faithful.:D:D

Yep, wore them. What about the legendary ripple sole, my fav back then, of course had to worn with levis and a black T-shirt.:thumbsu:

I've been in Peter Macs for 18 days or so. Just got internet access today.

So how are you diddling?

Just saw an interesting book at library - Men Surviving Cancer by Barry Leigh (Jane Curry Publishing). It's an Australian book, a series of accounts by survivors. Have you seen it?

Apart from the dealing with all the chemo, I can only imagine the boredom.

I've been trialling several hospital friendly, 'chemo brain' (as we call it now) friendly games.

Get your folks or the like to dash out and get a copy of 'Monopoly Deal' (Made in 2008 I think). You'll pay 5-10 bucks and will be able to pass a day on it. Nothing like the original monopoly.

Happy to report in with some more suggestions if this floats your boat.

I'm going ok guys. They look as though they're sorting things out now and I sharn't be too much longer here.

I'm actually very excited as I have planned some massive holidaying next year to England, Spain, France, Italy, Scotland, then off to California to stay at the Disneyland resort for 5 days, then to the Cook Islands, and coming home for another holiday at Mt. Buller. I'm pumped.

Then how you going to Follow the Pies mate?

It can take some time off mate because I'm also going to Arizona, New York, Alaska and The Maldives as well.

Good onya mate I'm sure you'll have a ball. Enjoy Scotland, my Granma's name was Ida Flora McDonald Anderson. One day I'll put up my family tree I'm actually related to Royalty... the Earl of Airlie from Scotland.

I did one cycle and things didn't go well. They found that the blockage in my bowel was too much for me to handle.

I should be having surgery next week to see if they can do anything about it, which they will I'm sure, and then I'll wait a bit and get back on chemo.

But I'm feeling in good spirits and going pretty well.

Should be out of here in a fortnight hopefully. For now I will rest and medititate.

Good luck mate and just know that all the usual reprobates on BF are thinking of you and hoping the best.:thumbsu::thumbsu::thumbsu:

if you're going up near USA you should definitely consider cancun.

Get a car and drive around the Scottish Highlands as much as possible... go up to the Isle of Skye and clear your noggin.

One of the best road trips I've ever been on.

Best of luck, didaka. :thumbsu:
