i'm not sure how those issues are connected zevie...

as for me, I'm flexible with the issues. horses for courses. I noticed that security issues were also mentioned for the jewish students. Now I support that. I'd like to see a gated community in caulfield to maximise the security benefits.

i dont even understand how the terms left and right can be used anymore. Anti immigration policies and increases in pensions etc tie up pretty nicely to the old labour movement in Australia. The French Right are planning to expand spending...doesnt sound too right to me.

It always reminds me of bibical stories and Paul....who was a roman citizen. The followers of christ were having a hard time of it when Paul had his "vision" and turned to preaching and writing epistles....but Paul was given more freedom to "preach the word" by the Romans because he was a roman citizen. Roman citizens used to stride across the known world without the fears that conquered folk had.....and i think in most ways that you look at it, we've been conquered and subjugated by the US empire.
