If i remember correctly he is an awkward, unskilled half back... Long year for the Oggers if he is there best

Hasn't Teasdale just had two titanium alloy legs attached ? Will he still be right to go by the time for the first training session ?

No rep from Aquinas?
quote]

There's 52 teams in C-D4 and only 50 players in the squad... and a fair few sides with more than 1 player. I'm sure Aquinas isn't the only team to miss out.

Anyone from Aquinas you think was hard done by knackers?

How u didnt get a call its beyond me boris... cleary ur the panthers best player mate. Playing at CHB, Rover and Full Forward this year. You are probs the most versitile player in the VAFA....

..... Boris is also listed in the Ammo record this week under the 150 game players list for OM's. Also there is his little mate "We are in the business of winning Premierships" Costello.

Give us break! Reds to win very comfortably in front of a huge crowd at BSO.

The Quite mans Tips

Nobs 24Pts
Aquinas 12Pts
Penninsula 23 Pts
Bulleen 35 Pts
South 6pts

Good decision tipping Aquinas Quite man too strong for Yarra today,Yarra got it back to 10 pts in the 3rd quarter after being 42 pts down at half time but Aquinas steadied to run out comfortable 40 pt winners

Great contest yesterday, with a thrilling ending.

Never reached dizzying heights with many missed targets and lots of inferred pressure, but it'd be fair to say if SMD play like that for the remainder of the season, they'll win plenty more matches.

Great to see the level of community support, crowd was probably around 300 or so, which is pretty good for a D1 fixture.

Very vocal in the last 3 minutes too. ;)

Umpires would ha to include themselves in the votes surely. They were disgusting.

Sounds like a good day and a good game too.

Tell us Scribe, from what you've seen this year do you think either Fitz or South Melb will honestly threaten for a top 4 berth?

I think Fitzroy will have to play significantly better than we have in the first 5 weeks in order to challenge for top 4.

Frase, I'm sure your mate Overtheline, north of the river and his 10 other alias' will disagree.
Just a question, how many times have you voted on the scribes thread?

Greetings all,

sorry I have been off line for a while, the roy has been on a recruiting drive in Sth Africa courtesy of the Reds. (I know I wasn't supposed to tell Frase but I couldn't help myself) Expect to see a couple of fine prospects running out at the BSO before too long.

Now Camo (can I call you that?) lets not talk down the boys, we are shoe ins for a top four, you superlative performance has the magoos flying and I know that enquiries have been made with marquee companies to hire one when we bring home two flags come september.

Keep up the good work Scribe, my spies tell me you are already being spoke about for higher duties at some rival clubs who may not be performing so well.

Expect to hear more from the great one (The Red) soon.

Yours in greatness

The Roy

Saw a bit of the BT/OM game. The 'name' players at OM were down as the result suggests. Hard to fathom how BT have such an impressive record at home. Doesn't seem to be any significant difference in the ground. Granted they are a decent side and are only winning home games in D1.

At 5-0, the boys are winning away games too! ;)
