From the Carlton board

Well put :D

Good to see them turning on him 7 games into a 4 year stay, it ain't gonna be pretty when he breaks down again

But..but...but...they were missing key players (we weren't)!
But..but...but...they dominated the last quarter, not because we stopped, but because they were displaying their true talent!

They are in a world of pain.

There best young player is Dylan Buckley, who, to be frank, is just a plodder.

They won't challenge for at least five years.

The treatment Thomas cops will discourage other players from leaving Collingwood for money, which is a big benefit for the club

Jeer away ! you're helping Collingwood !
Really, I doubt some big footy disciples and fans getting upset will discourage such a massive pay check. Let's get real who amongst us with possibly a very shortened career would have said no?

Do you think getting boo'd by a stadium filled with 70k people won't have an effect on someone? Not to mention the shit he will cop off the field if he is out and about.

It won't change some decisions but It's definitely in the clubs favour

I think we can only cheer considering we sent him over (along with Mick) to internally destroy Carltank. He is doing a great job :thumbsu:

Sorry but beg to differ

Felt sorry for the bloke, playing ordinary football in a ordinary side, against a juggernaut, that he left and could have been part of still. He must be questioning his move, surely. But then again, on current form he wouldn't even get a game with us. He would have dropped down the pecking order considerably had he stayed. So its a good move for him!!

I don't think I have enjoyed watching a game so much as I did the first 3 quarters last night. Well done to the crowd you were the extra player on the field that tagged Daisy. He got every bit he deserved. It's the manner in which he left for Carlton is why he should be so hated. Left not only for cash, Mick but also the club looked after him last year with his injury in taking a longer look approach instead of trying to rush him back and he basically spat in their face.

I'm all good with former pie Heath Scotland at Carlton as he left because he couldn't get a game and Collingwood and was a good career choice for him. Not sure I can say the same for Daisy. Can't wait for next Pies v scum game because after that performance I reckon he will be even more nervous again

I doubt he is remorseful et all.

It's all about him.Well that's the impression he gives me.
X 2. He went there for money. I'm sure he'd like to play for a good footy team given the choice but if that were his priority why would he have chosen Carlton?

Yeah - so what is it with you lot booby-trapping discards?

Sharrod's modelling career goes from strength to strength while his football remains lamentable at best. When Gaffy goes home next year, we'll send you Sharrod in the same suitcase and you send us the Beams boy. He can have a "tatt to tatt" with our kid Masto and hopefully demonstrate to the rest of the squad that, when kicking, it is possible to make the footy go in the direction you intended.

PISS OFF.

Something which i noticed people wouldn't have seen at home from watching the replay on channel 7.

When Ball smoothers the ball it hits him square in the face. Daisy, knowing everyone was jeering him (kudos to this thread) ran up to Ball while he had his head in his hands and performed a dog act and hit Ball him in his side while his head was down. Pendles then runs up and performs this perfect act of GTFO of here.

Love it. I can't stop laughing. Daisy face prior to him hitting the deck is priceless.
