Freo is the obvious choice but I don't think its workable on its own. North would need to find a way to bring F1 in to this year, and I think they only do that if they can land Houston and still have a high end pick this year. Personally I don't think there's a way to make that happen looking at the draft order. (Edit: Unless Richmond have their eyes on multiple 2025 draftees)So how do you think they would split pick 2? Go to Freo for 10 and 16 (that is around the quivalent pick value), give Port 10 and a future first?
If you weren't prepared to give up 10, then it wouldn't happen.
I've been championing on our board for us to make the deal happen but it's certainly becoming difficult to find a middle ground. Maybe our respective list managers will blow us away with something creative, but if you can't replace him this year when you're in a premiership window then I think he stays another year at least.
