It might be because he is one of the most natural athletes in sport.. He left rugby league as the best player in his position in the world.. Then went and played rugby union at a high level and was tearing it an new arseh*le and could have eventually played for the wallabies..
Also known as one of the most professional players in any change room in regards to preparation and application..
Give the guy some respect champ:thumbsu:

Not disrespecting Harmicheal at all , I think what he has been able to achieve is a credit to his application .
But don't you think it is unusual that a bloke can take up a game and within 2 years be so far infront .
If it's application I don't think mentioning this is in anyway being disrespectful to KH ?
Fwiw KH looks so far in front of DJ in his ability to read the game which has little to do with atheletic ability and you would expect DJ to be a mile infront on .

Not at all, KH will be successful at whatever code he would choose.. I will repeat he is an elite athlete..

What AFL fans don't appreciate is that KH was a freak of a league player and many fundamentals of the two codes are not dissimilar.

I appreciate KH's ability within league and also his atheletic abilities, however I thinks it's alarming that his general feel for the game in particularly awarenss around contests has excelled at such a rate, yet others who have grown up with the game and have for more experience within the game at the highest level, still struggle.

Correct Tug.. Freak athlete and the consummate professional for a kid his age..

He was pretty good. Negated Hurn, kicked a couple goals and generally made the right decision in traffic. Also bashed around S.Selwood to help Cotch with the tag so credit to him there. Might get a week or 2.

About time, every other week he has been a liablity. 1 decent game though is not going to change my opinion of him. He's needs to be replaced and I guess that depends on when/if Arnot or Helbig come on. I'm confident at least one of them will be a player.

Gave his usual raft of dumb free kicks away again. The tackle on Scott Selwood in the last when he didn't have the ball was plain dumb.

In saying that he worked hard within his own limitations today and tried his hardest .

Still think he would benefit from a couple of games at Coburg to feel what it is like to have time with the ball again. Then he can come back.

Credit where it is due. He has played ok the last few weeks. Will eventually be weeded out soon. Seems to be playing the role asked of him.

Some blokes need to take the blinkers off.

Played his role very well today. Turn your attention elsewhere.

Yes, give him his dues he did play well today but he needs to work on his discipline as he may get weeks for the behind the play hit on selwood. Be interesting to see if Selwood get weeks too for a similar hit on JR?

On this weeks form he certainly plays next week:thumbsu:

this for me. he did have a decent go but still the dumb arse things thrown in. played at a level that was acceptable and actually did a job. still think we should delist him though theres not a lot jacko can do to redeem himself in my eyes. anyway some credit to him on today.
my worry is he will revert back to type next week and then get another 4 weeks grace.

This is what frustrates me about the guy can play one good game and all is forgiven, wasnt just the dumb free kick on Selwood above but also the other dumb free kick on Selwood when he pushed him into a leading Darling with 4 mins left in the match, just stupid things he does when its not needed.

that was morris who was pinged not jacko.

Cutting to the chase, he put in like all the others. But even those who are trying their hardest to somewhat defend him, would no doubt know that he has 2 years left of an AFL career.....lock it in, yeah defensive shit etc..but yeah also, his foot skills and decision skills are downright embarrassing to watch....the end .;)

Wasn't, the worst today.

no he wasnt. id say he played to his absolute maximium and it was only just passable. cant wait for just a slight drop away in performance not. but we all know it will happen.

simply put he should not be getting a game under most circumstances. oh well string a few barely passable games together and one can just see the masses lauding him as a player again.

Santa just acknowledge he was one of our better players in a good game against quality opposition . It didn't prevent me from cringing every time he got near the contest in anticipation of a stupid free kick or errant disposal , but he was very good .
