Any point watching us next year?I rate Rioli and Bolton as our two best players by some way. I certainly don't over-rate our list, Vlastuin isn't far behind, but other than that... nothing. Lynch obviously when playing.
Before this season I wouldn't have mentioned Rioli, but he was brilliant this year and without him we would never had gotten the ball pst the wing.
We should have taken this deal when offered.Yeh if it’s true that Freo have tabled 10. 11 and 18 for Bolton and Baker then they would do 10 and 11 for Bolton.
Might be 10,11 and 18 for 14 and Bolton. So works out same deal as if baker went to freo with Bolton. We should have taken this deal when offered.
We would have had 10, 11 and 18
If Freo don’t budge and we cave in then we have 10, 14 and 18 - so slightly worse.
Then again if we don’t budge and Freo cave in, then we have 10, 11 and 14 so slightly better.
Or we keep Bolton.
I like to see 10, 18 and F2
The value is in the eye of the beholderAs much as Weller is worth pick 2.
The value is trading with the Suns - you can add this to Weller and Bowes trade. The value is in the eye of the beholder
I couldn't believe it when the Bolton and Rioli talk first started about going home. They are stars and we don't have many. But it's a good draft and we have a fat hand of draft picks, so roll with the punches. It will be far more enjoyable watching these kids, and a good many of of young players who are just finding their feet, playing this season than last, even if another spoon is are real chance.Any point watching us next year?
Obviously with the club trading out our best players, the message from the club is we want pick 1 next year as well.
Be exiting for all the fans wanting a spoon though (which seems we have a lot of).
If Lynch does not play next year, we probably go winless
Ain't that the truth? If one of your players looked a bit restless, you'd do well to be all "I hear Damian is doing great things at the Suns, and man, those beaches and the gals..."The value is trading with the Suns - you can add this to Weller and Bowes trade.
If a player leaves - you just hope they nominate Gold Coast...
The goldy is a long way away from fremantle!!I couldn't believe it when the Bolton and Rioli talk first started about going home. They are stars and we don't have many. But it's a good draft and we have a fat hand of draft picks, so roll with the punches. It will be far more enjoyable watching these kids, and a good many of of young players who are just finding their feet, playing this season than last, even if another spoon is are real chance.
Well referring to Bolton, Rioli a bit closer to the Tiwi Is's.The goldy is a long way away from fremantle!!
Are you sure? We'll see what happens, all I know is you won't be getting 11.
Rioli a very good consistent player. GC need the sort of run and carry and dynamism he brings. He might just help them get to the next level. But the club has such a long term culture of not really there that I worry.just a reminder...port got JHF for 10 & 20 i think?....and he was maybe 19 or 20 y/o
unbelievable trade period by the tiges....if they even get pick 6 alone for rioli....who is what 27? and a pretty handy half back flanker who can go missing for large parts of the season.....
We didn't have to split pick 3, I wasn't wrongAged well champ
Looks like we moved to a new table.Change 11 to 18 and you'd have something more realistic. 11 is off the table.
What’s the 3rd pick from Richmond? They’ve only got 51 & 61? 70 is virtually useless for us
Looked like a solid deal to me.Are you sure?
Blair Hartley gets what he wantsLooked like a solid deal to me.
