You absolute banana. Check the tape.

Have a look at the unedited post that reads "If Fog regularly has games with 5 marks inside 50 and 5 goals I promise I will never bring up his possession tally".

That is what I "literally" said.
This argument is all Justin Reid's fault.

If we had delisted Fog last year like many here were calling for we wouldn't have seen his fom improve.

If only we could just delist our young draft picks after 10 games if they aren’t AAs yet and keep the focus on how bad our drafting is. 😒

This 3 game stretch has been promising and he has looked good, but we have seen this before. I still want to see just 1 game where he influences the game for 4 quarters.

2019 - Rds 20 - 22: 32 disposals, 17 marks, 9 goals, 1 behind 10 I50's
2021 - Rds 10-12: 23 disposals,10 marks, 7 goals, 2 behinds, 7 I50's
2022 - Rds 11-14: 34 disposals, 15 marks, 8 goals, 1 behind, 9 I50's

Hopefully this is the stretch where it continues.

Not quite.

We still saw similar 3 game spurts in 2019 and 2021 as we have seen over the past 3 weeks.

But I love the hyperbole. Its really what this forum lacks.

Hey - If Fog regularly has games with 5 marks inside 50 and 5 goals I promise I will never bring up his possession tally.

And just like that you admit what we always knew: that your months long argument was meaningless.

LOL at thinking 'young player has shown form more than once' is an argument against.

You're right, delist him now, he's no good.

Thilthorpe too, he's only played 1 good game, Rachele's not consistent, delist, Jones, Schoenberg, Walker all only good in patches, Butts was beaten by Lobb of all people. Delist them all, we're worse than North.

Let's hope we lose tomorrow otherwise we'll be ahead of Hawthorn and we all know they're ahead of us in their rebuild.

No wonder when they keep players like Lewis on the list for 5 years before they start to develop.

If any of them ever play well again it would be a sign we should be very concerned about.

Lets just keep the hyperbole going! I just don't know where anyone has said anything you are suggesting.

You are arguing with imaginary ghosts.

Well its showing that this "improvement" has been seen before. Once in 2019, once in 2021 and now for a 3rd time in 2022. The knock on Fogarty for everyone except for you is that he doesn't impact games enough and lacks consistency.

Now I would love to hear your theory as to what brought about this magical turnaround over the past 3 weeks for FOG. Because your excuses were exhaustive earlier this year - (had to play against the best defender, Tex was taking all the good inside 50's, midfield delivery was terrible, we once played him as a midfielder and the almost derailed his development). But suddenly that all magically changed 3 weeks ago?

And I get that you love FOG. And you can't handle anyone not being glowingly positive of him. Its okay.

?

Fog has been regularly getting 5 goals and 5 marks inside 50 in a game? s**t. I was wrong. Must have got my facts wrong. I thought he only got to 5 goals once in 49 games.....

You've been rage fapping about the significance of the fourteenth disposal against all reason for weeks now, and suddenly it doesn't really matter.

Now he's not kicked enough five goal hauls in his first 49 games. Just move the goal posts whenever you're found out.

Maybe don't try to speak for everyone. I don't know if you've noticed but the other bottom feeders have already retreated, leaving you holding fort numpty alone.

I'd really better scramble for an explanation for something that I've been predicting since day one. Continuity, experience and confidence have led to improved performance. Shock.

The hindrances to performance continue to exist, and continue to impact. He'll do even better if we improve them. And won't that also be shocking.

I wouldn't really say "rage fapping". You sure do love to exaggerate.

More that it's very interesting that he is very possible going to be the first AFL player to reach 50 games without ever having 14 touches in a game.

Good lord you are tiresome. My comment about 5 goal hauls was in response to a direct line of conversation about Kennedy being shit because he only had 12 disposals (even though he kicked 5 goals). My comment was simply that if FOG regularly kicked 5 goals a game - the possession count would be completely irrelevant.

Ha ha ha.... the intellectual behemoth - supported by the brilliant thinkers 1990 crow, grotto and trader 15. Good lord.

All you have done is provided continued excuses as to explain away FOG's poor performances, whilst saying he will come good. Its truly a win / win and its a commendable position for an internet warrior to put themselves in.

Yes, I already know that you abandoned the fundamentals of your argument. You don't need to keep telling me that you've done it.

Yes, I accurately explained his performance and predicted improvement and am being vindicated. What a withering assessment of me you've laid out.

Well done. Amazing really. What a magical transformation between the St. Kilda game and the West Coast game.

You and OJ. Both vindicated. How did we ever doubt either of you?

His last few games have been an improvement but I'm still leaning toward Fog not really reaching his potential if he stays at Adelaide. If he goes elsewhere, a better run club might just extract a really good player. Even putting aside his own personal development, just playing in a side with a better, more skillful midfield should give him more shots on goal. I hope he considers it because I think it would be the best thing for his career. I want to see that player everybody in the industry was gushing about when he first got drafted.

Most of his goals were on the lead and kick straight in 2019 and 2021, he wasn't attacking the ball in the air and showing more urgency around the ball with his defense acts like he has done in the last 3 games.
