Wow that many?
If I am not mistaken he said to Butters he was going to do it his way at the end because the cotton wool approach wasn't working.

The reality was Bucks was very durable all through his 20's and 30's...….his problems happened at the end.

Unfortunately Darcy isn't even 23 and has had too many.

Again IIRC what got Bucks up for the final five games was the "**** it or fix it" approach like you suggested where once the tissue was recovered a highly aggressive approach was taken without regard for further injury.

I preface this question with I haven't seen the game yet.
Was that Darcy running off the ground after "he did his hammy"?

It seems to be.

Was it really a hamstring,or hamstring tightness?I didn't think you could sprint off the ground like that if you'd just done your hamstring.

I wouldn't write Darkyprotector's theory off so easily.

If one has had the same injury more that a few times, a twinge in the area can make you feel that it is worse than it is.

Sometimes 'awareness' might just be that, more in the head than the leg.

It will be an interesting medical diagnostic this week regarding Moore and I do not think he should be picked to play again with any sort of medical problems this season.

We are on a tightrope now and cannot afford to pick anyone not willing to put their body on the line.If his injuries are such then he should not be picked just get him right for next year.

More brains than brawn you reckon re?

Bit like me only 'brains and brawn' so a slight variation in the wording.. big discrepancy in real life re. F great re.

Maybe he is just faking it so he can get out
That was my thinking, but thought I'd clarify first.
I think Darkyprotector might be on the money on two fronts - awareness AND going to Sydney.

Not questioning his integrity by the way.

Can't be right..

What.. so his thoughts were 'yeah let's just jeopardize a crucial game of footy.. cause I come first'.. proceeded by a nice bear hug by Grundy?

I doubt someone would stoop that low.

He was grabbing his hammy during the game.. I'm sure he felt it.. no need to go on after that.

Going to Sydney.. that was part of the reason?

You're basically questioning Moore's integrity. Sabotaging a game.

BringouttheGimp I'm saying he's suffering from awareness AND he might be going to Sydney.
I wouldn't question a player's integrity like that.

PS: I've fixed my post to avoid further confusion.

I dunno if it is awareness.. Moore looks like a competitive beast.. loves to get in there. Once a player like that crosses the white line.. they'd chaise players on 1 leg if they had to.

You know you raise a observation on here and it's like youve shot bambi

All I have done is raise my concerns that he has high grade awareness and Its cost us dearly
In fact Raised it months ago

And yet again it happens and still I get potted

Cut out the emotion , its turning into a big issue

I've heard it's the ground , its our doctors. It's our physio

Yeah maybe? A combination?

It could also be what I've mentioned

All prior injuries have an effect going forward
All connected and hips are a big big big part of your bodies motion
That's part of the problem, all the years of rehab

We really need a new poster named Darcyprotector to come in and defend Moore in this thread.
Great idea then we can do Survivor

Darky Protector v Darcy Protector

Winner gets to eat Darcy’s blonde locks

Not having a crack at ya re.. based on what I've seen by Moore over the yrs.. chasing down players at full pelt.. has shown courage flying for the pill.. etc.. I just don't think it's in his character to back out once hes out there.. he might be aware of it a lil more yes you're right.. but when it's time for him to go.. he normally doesn't hold back.

He might think about his hammies when the pill is on the opposite end of the pitch.. or during breaks. That's about it. Hed definitely risk a twang when the ball is in his vicinity though.

For those struggling to comprehend

When you have a constant problem with the same body part 99% of the time the battle is mental
So it's always a combo of physical and mental

I've done 3 acls , the rehab the constant doubt
Also done plenty of soft tissues

Me I wouldn't have taken him at pick 9 with his injury profile nor freeman nor shaz
All missed junior footy through body issues

And that affects future output as proven

So far assesment in a business sense

Risk. High
Reward low

disagree but your calls yours
Perfectly executed question IMO

Certainly looked frustrated and annoyed

Not the first time I've seen him like that either
Agree with most of what you are saying apart from when you said you wouldn’t of taken any of those players.

Shaz had a foot injury that needed surgery and the bone fused. The club did that and he hasn’t had an issue since.

Freeman had no history of injury

Moore had a hip problem that was fixed before he was drafted and a broken thumb as a kid
