Why is Carrazzo a protected species around here. He's no longer on the ball and playing a specialist back pocket and in my opinion might be up for ommission this week. My changes are:

Jamison in for Browne. (The kid's been good and should go back to VFL and get alot of it)
Bannister in for Wiggins. (Wiggs unlucky, however Banno matches up well with C'Wood)
Pfieffer in for Carrazzo. (Pfieffer was a class above in the VFL, Deserves a chance)

The omitted trio are unlucky and have been playing solid footy, they'll certainly get their chance again.

Did you actually watch the game - Carrazzo was really solid on Motlop for most of the game and provided stability and great rebound out of defence. Ratts asked him to do a job and he did it admirably....Pfeiffer not in Carlton's best 22 IMO.

Wigggins would be the only potential change this week for me (unless Russell goes which I doubt) if Jamo comes back which I believe is more yes than no right at the moment.

Based on that gutsy performance there should be minimal change for the game against the filth. I'd give Armfield a direct match up on Didak and tell him to "give that mongrel hell"

i cant see how wiggo or russell can go, their desparation got us over the line in that game. Yes the brilliance came from judd murph gibbs kreuze, but finding the ball, making tackles and especially holding it in our forward line for the last few mins was russ and wiggo

my change would be banno for browne. if jamo is fit i dunno who he could come in for

It's 1-2 weeks on the website. So its possible but it's not 'expected'. Would i love him back? Hell yes. Do i have my hopes up at this stage? Not quite.

Would be nice though :thumbsu:

Fair enough, but I wouldn't be relying on the website too much for injury news.

Spoke to Jamo a few weeks ago and said he should be right for the Collingwood game. A couple of other posters seem to have asked him and been greeted with a similar reply.

Don't be surprised if he does end up playing. :thumbsu:

Yes he was solid last night, but how's he going to match up on Collingwood. Davis will be too quick for him. If he is picked he has to take on a tagging role on Pendlebury or Swan. For this reason I like the change with Pfieffer as he is a little more adaptable.

Armfield has to stay in midfield for mine. He just shows so much poise and composure on the ball, he didn't look flustered at all against Port and uses the ball pretty well. Would we consider using Gibbs in a defensive role again?
