How would you know how the dogs are going, from all reports you haven't actually been seen at the clubs since December.
I heard that Jack Rabbit and Jake are taking training.
You have stated that it's not about the four points its about respect, why should people give you respect as coach when you don't even go to training and contact any of the coaching staff to see how things are going etc. I was talking to Jake and he said that players he had rang said why should they come to training when your senior coach doesn't train or show up, and they will no doubt get a game anyway due to numbers.
The reason we are told you aren't training or showing up at the club is because of cricket - it's only bcl cricket mooch and you don't train on Mon or Wed nights anyway!
You would be getting more money to play and coach footy (more than you're worth) than cricket so you better go and help out your struggling bulldogs instead of relying on the other coaches to do it all for you otherwise there may be a few loyal blokes thinking about leaving
Apparently they have no money according to the experts and I must be mistaken in thinking where the Club has finished may be due to these blokes and their attitudes not turning up, the coaching staff appointed this year have a time frame as to when the season proper starts and this year the twos will not be put before the ones and if blokes are not turning up because the Senior coach is not there is a typical weak as pi s attitude thats got the club in the sh t it was 6 months ago, let them and their match payments they received for mediocre performances stay away, go Dogs !

Loyalty does not equate to a poor culture and poor off and on field performances, how many 50s did they give away last year and how many got suspended, anyway, just went past Heybridge and saw Chalky, Garry Newton and Nigel Medwin loading bricks on to a trailer and marking the ground for tomorrows game against Forth, good to see Chalky doing a bit that most idiots do not see, he cannot help that Stowport play finals in cricket !

chalky needs to be careful to return those bricks he was picking up to the rightful owner. its obvious they fell out of 2bseen's head while he was out there spying on chalk. will probably find a pile of small rocks and a pile of shit that go with them in close proximity !

I have only been for a look ones and thats when they were up at marist which they had 4 players on the track so there was not much 2 spy on.
You dont have to go and have a look when the dogs are the talk of the town about a coach who doesnt turn up so i dont think he will be any different than the players they had last year. Dont train play on saturdays hold your hand out for money and go home. Good on you Mooch or Chalky what ever you want to call yourself.
Will there be enough players for you practice match against forth.

Good luck to ben and kurt for the 2010 season have yous picked up or lost many players from last year.Is couls still playing up there.:thumbsu:

They may struggle with Cricket still on but they play 2 games next Sat at the gala day and a game on Sunday at Stanley as well, still a bit of time to get a few there as it is an 18 game roster, first game winnable away at Queeny I reckon

dogs wont be tah bad dont rekon
will finish abov queenie and yoman this year

Bad call, great spelling:thumbsu:

Dogs may find themselves in for a tough year again if moocher cant get involved now? Other coaches in the comp are getting hands dirty and ready to go. Hard to change culture like that.

Good fella is Guy but should have weighed up cricket/footy and how much he could commit before he put the hand out:eek:

bit harsh , when doggies signed chalky they knew he wouldnt be taken trianing preseason .rumour is they have new jumpers and shirts ,hope they have a good year and they can changed the culture at the club as we dont want to see anymore country clubs fold.

Too true and the deal was done with Chalky with the new committee from this season as everyone, or most of them anyway, walked away from the committee last year. The culture will change but not overnight, their young guys went well against Forth at the weekend and I reckon Chalky from next Tuesday after the cricket is better than not at all as noone else is or was prepared to take it on, they will be ok, would be an even poorer comp with no Dogs

Cooper not going to the Dogs now, he had negotiated a fee in regards to being an assistant coach after some discussions with Ridgley and was keen to venture in to a coaching\leadership role with Chalky but after taking the reigns on Saturday with the help of Jake against Forth for the Kerry Jackson Cup he has decided not to take that job on.Dissapointing for Cuprona as to have someone out of the highly successful Ridgley side and a good player to boot as well was what the doctor had ordered.Anyway there leaves an opening in their now contolled salary cap for somebody else up to the challenge, the Dogs have had to cancel their practice game on Sunday due to lack of numbers and the fact some will play in the gala day at Heybridge on Saturday but the real season starts on the 17th of April, not today, so those that are still sitting on the collapsed fence at Heybridge can still turn up prior to that first game.Chalky will be there on the 29th to help Jack and Jake out at training, had a bo peep on Saturday and the new bar facility is excellent

Your a bit quick 2 run down the players they had there last year/ take a look at the coaching and committee maybe there wasnt enough authority at the club and they went about things the wrong way. some of these players that didnt train and just held there hand out for money... have now joined clubs that r very strong on discipline for absolutely no money and r training hard... so look 4 these cuprona rejects in there new colours 2 stand up this year with a team around them 4 help not just 6 or 7 players each week.
