Re: Darwin Football Association Part 2

Always good to be confident about your team, but not a c*ck about it. As with your 2's talking up their unbeaten season, i see Somerset beat them on the weekend. As with blokes like you carrying on, this is the sort of mentality that loses games. Good luck to the pies in the 1&2s this week, but you may be eating your own words come Sunday...

Not all Natone followers have same opinion as TMM. We still have to get past Sth Burnie this weekend in ones and twos before we even think about the following week. as the old Cliche goes "we are just taking it one week at a time". Yes we have played some good football over the first two week's of finals but Sth Burnie is a different kettle of fish compared to Yolla as was Yolla compared to Somerset, So we will worry about this weekend and hopefully we get another crack at Ridgley to restore some pride after the 100 point flogging we recieved off them a few weeks ago.

The meat man (or the meat head more like it) is making me want Natone to lose lol, But honestly I hope they do alright. Will be a good game this week. The two's should be a cracker of a game too:thumbsu: Really hard to pick a winner!

Good on Natone for beating Yolla, I bet a few of the Yolla blokes werent mouthing off this week as they did against us when they snuck in at home but flogged us up there, you need to be humble both in winning and losing, the Pies went out and were pro-active this year so good on em Oliver, Miller and B fISH are Premiership players in a higher league so they obviously can play

Re: Darwin Football Association Part 2

Hahahahahahahahahaaha hahahahaha ha Q.What do chalky and Browney have in common? A. Big mouths
and they can both back it up !Chalky not coaching anywhere next year as he is too busy during the summer with cricket. He got caught last time by not being able to be there for the footy pre-season

Thats a question for yourself. How the hell would we know?We dont Know if you are on somerset seconds or hate reserves footy, wynyard,Burnie seconds,or coaching cuprona with a "new culture".You are a bit scattered is my reply, if your asking me for my honest answer to that question.Your Ideas have More twists and turns than a Burnie council street plan.
Wern't we already on it?

Nope, always respectful of the game and opposition, unlike a few others, our Seniors ended up where they deserved to be and after Natone pumped us early on by 80 odd, good on em, would love to have had all their recruits out our way for sure, go our twos !

Re: Darwin Football Association Part 2

Cooper from Ridgley
Was best on by a country mile against our boys first game of year but will have others taking votes off him, will be interesting who got invites from each club and also who in fact will actually turn up. will need the binoculars for the Granny at wivenhoe !

It was a provincialism!

Re: Darwin Football Association Part 2

Didnt get to see the games last weekend but the week before seen Wish get reported then given a 50m penalty which resulted in a goal turned the game and South won. Just been told the report was thrown out after the game, goes to show darwin Umps are weak as piss. I saw the incident and he did knee Mcculloch in the head. If the umps had any idea of the game which Buck Taylor was sprouting off about it to the central umps from boundary (whom Buck is one) a 50M penalty is not to be given after a report, as in this instance, your not guilty until proven guilty, and it cost Yolla the game.

Some of the umps are too busy commentating and worrying about themselves and not the actual game at times and some decisions look worse because they have not positioned themselves in the correct position to see offences, anyway, we cant watch or play without them so let it be I suppose. From a supporter and player point of view it is frustrating when "name" players eg Wish and Heath get away with things-bring the prelim on I say at the home of football, Langley Park !
