I didnt say that braslin was playing for nothing bird eye view, but hes certainly not on the sort of money or been signed for the sort thats been bandied about on here i can tell you.
I think its disrespectfull of bras to say that he wouldnt be playing for the love of it- the guy absolutely loves his footy and if he chose cuprona over south then he probally chose for a lot of reasons other than money cobber, the bulldogs are a real family club and believe it or not its actually quite exciting period to be at the kennel as we try to turn the club around.:thumbsu:
we might not be the most fashionable club and our facilities certainly arent the best but we are trying so hard to make sure the club is around for a long time into the future.
cheers
Good work weasel, I for one say goon on the dogs for pulling a few moves:thumbsu:

Weasel come on.... Braslin not going for money or much of ha ha. Came to SB and asked for $$. They put an offer on the table for him and he didnt accept it. So to me that means 1 thing more $$ at the kennel. He wouldnt be playing for the love of it and he wouldnt have been playing up at ridgley for nothing either
Braslin is def a good bloke but i am fairly certain he signed for $2000:confused:plus match payments

lol i can guarantee you sset boy no 1 that braslin definately did not sign for $2000 or even for a meter of firewood and a cow which arrow suggested lol:D
The cuprona football club without doubt does not have the sort of money suggested here to give to players to sign up mate -simple as that, if we did, it would be a safe bet that we would put the money back into doing up the club rooms dont u think.
In saying that, if anyone on the forum would like to donate to the cuprona rebuilding& recruitig fund-please contact me and please note all donations are tax deductable.
thanking you

Real tough i bet you wouldnt say #### to his face, **** pattie, i for one dont care where he plays, he's #### anyway:thumbsdown:

very very harsh mate-pattie is probally the most highly rated player at heybridge by his peers, good bloke, good player and we certainly care where he plays and we are wrapped that in 09 it will be with the cuprona football club.:thumbsu:

I was under the impression that they weren't going to leave?? very interesting. What else is news arrow. I've heard Clinton Carpenter is 90% at the roos next year, very very big pickup if true

always plays a few good games against the newbies on new turf after that he"ll become another brownie full of promise, no gun powder, probably better in the leven or chfa

Hear on the grape vine over the weekend that Dustin Crawford has thrown his hat in the ring for the South Burnie job?? Ben Fisher, James Hartley, Bj Miller and Kurt Young to Ridgley along with Ben Hayes is going to assistant coach. Heard this one Friday night on the town anyone heard??.
Handy pick ups but not sure that they are ready to leave Docker land just yet.

Couldn't be ferther from the truth, Ben Fisher is pretty much signed at Somerset, As for the rest of them who knows, Ben the best out of that bunch. Will be interesting to see what happens at south as i am told a few need to leave to avoid mass evacuation at the club?? Cant wait to hear whats truth and whats not:thumbsu: You really have to love silly season

More highly rated than a Jack Riley and a Darryle Brown??? I would hope not. I've never heard of this bloke so i doubt he is all that

I've heard that the DFA next year is going to an 18 game roster season with no lightning premiership?? What are everyones thoughts on this? I for one think its a good idea because I thought this season was too short?? Would like to hear everyone elses views on this

Did see all the ones i have mentioned out together Fri night on the suace but they did spend a fair bit of time with Robbo and Fields aswell so maybe Somerset?? Who knows silly season is brilliant. You only have to be seen talking to someone envolved at another club and you have signed there.

Totally agree with you here big fella. I dont play Darwin but is it 14 games played in the season and then finals?? Not enough in my opinion. But with guys that are older and have familys and that sort of stuff its probably ideal for them.
Would love to see Aaron Butler from Ridgley and Rohan Baldock go to a higher level and have a crack two of the best young players in the Darwin.

Yea mate im with you, they got all there lives to mooch back in the darwin, Just wether they man enough to take the next step or not, I've heard Baldy in talks with Wynyard and Aaron in talks with Penguin, Would be interesting to see them match up on eachother in the NTFL lol:thumbsu:

You seem very well informed on Somerset what do you think Rohan Baldock will do??
Really haven't talked to baldy much this season he is a fairly loose sort of bloke, Noone really knows what he'll do. I know he is really good mates with Chalky Grey and from what i hear alot rides on what chalkys plans will be cuz i think Baldy will justy follow Chalk whereever he goes, I know Chalky has been offered the assistent coaches job at Wynyard so i guess Baldy will follow him there. I really hope they both decide to play at Somerset next year as they are good blokes to have at the club:thumbsu:Why do you ask the Question? Have you heard anything?

heard this tday from aguy, trent mccrossen and jeremy soden will be signing with queenstown this week and bannon and howard could be joining them yet to boot.

mccrssen and soden are cousins and the crows have got them jobs down there as well as giving them a bucket load of cash.
queeny the big movers although apparently patterson isnt playing there as well as schultz retiring so.....

Patterson is a germ who will pplay anywhere and shows no loyalty to any club

rohan baldock will stay at somerset for 1 more year so all other clubs can save there time and money chasing him that is a fact:thumbsu:
