Kochie is so obviously not a footy guy and it’s not funny anymore. I know his position isn’t about knowing the ins and outs of the game but he’s got no ****ing feel for anything. Winning the most games over two years means sweet **** all if you don’t win a premiership. Greatness is THE only destination and the journey means sweet **** all if you never get there. What a self serving turd that just refuses to be flushed

Having both Kochie and Ken there for 10 years is making us a very stale club. Change needs to be sooner rather than later. Hell, both of these guys should’ve been out 3 years ago. This is just a joke now.

This is a professional bullshitter hard at work.

Greatness is 100% the destination in the context of winning a flag. The journey can only be considered great in retrospect if this result is achieved. If it isn’t achieved then the journey can in no way be considered great by any measure. Absolute nonsense.

We are this f@&king close to becoming a 2020s St Kilda and releasing a Netflix doco in the same vein as “The Streak.”
At least St Kilda had a century of being the worst club in the country to provide context for 'the streak' being a celebrated achievement.

We are the most successful club in the country, and in the last ten years we've been gaslighted to such a degree that we celebrate qualifying final wins.

I thought it was pretty good as far as president’s speeches go. Did the right thing by the sponsors and recognised our stars. He’s bang on, we’re a good club not a great club. Third place this year, third place last year, we won’t be happy until we’re winning a grand final. How would you have done it better?
"I resign" would've done nicely.

I really don't know what to do with this club any more, I can't believe how we have been dismissed as white noise - you always get a minority garbage they all spew.
I would say everyone at the B&F were all in this (we are on the right track rubbish).

They are all sticking so tight, Koch, the board, Hinkley, the players. It's like they have created an impenetrable fortress and the block out any sort of criticism.

I include Abernethy in this, they are like a boys club you can't penetrate.

Notice they don't ask Tredda's to do anything at the club on these award nights.

I fear we are all wasting our time here, our club has been stolen, seeing Jack last night made me think of how much he loved Port, he almost looked like a stranger at a club he brought so much success too.

It'll all come crashing down next year, don't worry.

Greta Thunberg has the right way of describing Koch's empty promises (and Rucci's columns) as just blah, blah, blah.

Funny how we can watch the same thing and see something completely different.

They have to stick tight that’s what good clubs do in times of adversity.

My club hasn’t been stolen. I’m devastated about the loss but I can also recognise there were some achievements in 2021. Our first Brownlow medallist, the refurbishment of the store, the plans for expansion, higher membership numbers, the AFLW. None of that makes up for the prelim loss but it shows me where the $ are going and that we have admin who are looking forward. Growth, expansion, inclusivity, family. That’s what Port has always been to me.

I’m glad Tredders wasn’t asked to do anything. While Jack Cahill is double vaxed, because of his age if unvaccinated Treadrea was anywhere near him he’s vulnerable. While we don’t have any cases here now we’re safe but this is where we’re heading as borders open.

So good to see Jack last night with his family and presenting the medal. Hardly a stranger.

I respect your opinion, just thought I’d share mine.

That's okay, it's your opinion and i respect that but I have a different opinion.

There's stick fat and there's being obtuse. Ken Hinkley said and I quote "Given the time again, I wouldn't do anything different". This was in direct response to Tredders' question of what would you do different, referring to the prelim.
Albert Einstein said the definition of insanity is doing the same things over and over and expecting different results. Whilst I think I'd be safe in thinking Ken Hinkley wouldn't be au fait with Einstein's philosophy, it's the most stupid think I think I've ever heard him say and there's plenty to choose from. Sticking fat with an incredibly bad decision is just bad business and plain stupid.
